BEFORE FIRST USE
1. Read all instructions carefully and keep them for future reference.
2. Remove all packaging.
3.TheAquascreen®lterhasbeeninstalledinthespoutoftheKettle
during production. If it has been dislodged during shipping check
insidetheKettleorinthebox.InstalltheFilterbeforeusingtheKettle.
IMPORTANT NOTES:
• DO NOT remove or install the lter when the Kettle is hot.
• DO NOT use the kettle without the lter in position:
- This may allow water to spit out when boiling
- The kettle may remain in the boil cycle too long once the water has
boiled
- The kettle may not shut off
4.FilltheKettlewith1Liter(Quart)ofcoldtapwaterandbringtoaboil.
Add 500 ml (2 cups) of white vinegar and let stand for at least 1 hour
orovernight.Discard.
5. Fillthekettletothemaximumlllinewithcoldtapwater.Bringtoa
boil and discard. Repeat.
6. The kettle is ready to use.

1. OpentheKettleCoverbypressingthecenterbutton.FilltheKettle
withwaterbetweentheMINandMAXmarking,throughthelid
opening.
NOTE:
DO NOTattempttollwhiletheKettleisonthePowerBase.
DO NOTuseforotherthanboilingwater.Otherliquidswill
contaminate the interior of the Kettle.
