INTRODUCTION

This bulletin contains instructions for the installation of the METER–PAK™

Wireway Extension (MP12X8PEDEXT) to the METER–PAK Wireway device

(MP43X8PED) manufactured by Square D.

To mount the wireway extension to the wireway device, see Figure 1.

SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

HAZARD OF ELECTRIC SHOCK, BURN, OR EXPLOSION

•This kit must be installed and serviced only by qualified electrical personnel.

•Turn off all power supplying the equipment where this kit will be installed

before working on or inside the equipment.

•Always use a properly rated voltage sensing device to confirm that all

power is off.

•Replace all devices, doors, and covers after installing this kit and before

turning on power to the equipment.

Failure to follow these instructions will result in death or serious injury.
