1. DESCRIPTION / OVERVIEW:
The Chimera is a single channel 500 series compatible Opto compressor, and can be used for mono ™
applications, or can be paired with a second Chimera for stereo applications. The Chimera contains ™ ™
a transformer input & output, as well as all discrete circuitry and a Class AB transistor output circuit. At
the heart of the Chimera is the T4B optical cell, which utilizes an Electroluminescent (EL) panel and ™
photo resistor cells to achieve gain reduction.
