GENERAL

The VP64A and VP64AL are high-output omnidirectional

handheld dynamic microphones designed for professional

audio and video production. They combine exceptional per-

formance and comfortable feel with a handsome on-camera

appearance.

The VP64A and VP64AL are identical except for handle

length. The 200 mm (7-

inch) long VP64A is ideal for

closeup use and can be used outside as well as indoors.

The VP64AL is well-suited to location interviews, sports

broadcasting, and other situations where the 244 mm (9-

inch) length is an advantage.

The omnidirectional pickup pattern provides uniform pick-

up on or off axis, eliminating the need for critical microphone

positioning. The VP64A microphones also feature a tailored

frequency response with an upper midrange presence rise

that adds crispness and clarity to speech. The cartridge uti-

lizes a neodymium magnet for higher output and increased

signal-to-noise ratio.

An internal rubber isolation mount protects the micro-

phone cartridge and minimizes handling noise. A water-re-

sistant mesh grille allows the microphone to be used during

the most challenging weather conditions. The supplied

windscreen further reduces “pop” and wind noise.

Conçus pour la production audio et vidéo professionnelle,

les microphones électrodynamiques à main VP64A et

VP64AL sont omnidirectionnels et à haut niveau de sortie.

Ils combinent des performances exceptionnelles et une pri-

se confortable avec une apparence élégante à l’écran.

Les VP64A et VP64AL sont identiques à l’exception de la

longueur de poignée. Le VP64A, de 200 mm de long, est

idéal pour l’usage rapproché et peut être utilisé à l’extérieur

aussi bien qu’à l’intérieur. Le VP64AL convient parfaitement

aux interviews en extérieur, au reportage sportif radiodiffusé

ou télévisé ainsi qu’à d’autres cas où la longueur de 244 mm

est un avantage.

La configuration omnidirectionnelle assure une prise de

son uniforme sur et hors axe, éliminant le besoin d’un place-

ment très précis du micro. La série VP64A offre aussi une

réponse en fréquence étudiée avec hausse de présence

dans la gamme médiane supérieure, ce qui ajoute brillance

et clarté à la voix. Grâce à son aimant au néodyme, la car-

touche offre un niveau de sortie plus élevé et un rapport si-

gnal/bruit accru.

La cartouche est logée dans une monture isolante en

caoutchouc pour plus de solidité et moins de bruits de mani-

pulation. Elle est protégée par une grille semi–imperméable

qui permet d’utiliser le micro dans les conditions climatiques

les plus difficiles. Pour plus de protection contre le vent et les

heurts du souffle, utiliser le coupe-vent fourni.
