• Do not expose the product to extreme heat.

Disposal

This device is subject to European Directive 2012/19/EU and may not be disposed of with general

household garbage. If you do not know where you may dispose of the device at the end of its lifespan,

contact your municipality, your local waste management provider, or your seller.

Registering a wireless device (speakerphone, headset)

1. Remove the dongle‘s protective cap.

2. Insert the dongle into the USB port.

3. Press the key on the dongle for 4 seconds to enter registration mode; the red

LED begins to double-ash rapidly. You now have 10 seconds to register the

device.

4. For pairing with A170/A150 headsets and C52-SP, see reverse side. For pairing

with other wireless devices, please refer to the manuals of the devices.

Deregistering

1. Press the key on the dongle for 10 seconds to enter deregistration mode. After 4 seconds the red LED

starts to double-ash; after 10 seconds the LED starts to ash red rapidly, indicating that the dongle has

entered deregistration mode.

2. Release the key and press it again for 1 second to conrm deregistration. The LED turns green for three

seconds, turns o for one second and then shows steady red light.

Pairing with A170/A150 headsets

1. Deregister the headset from its base station or from another dongle it may have been paired with. Please

refer to the user instructions of the headset or the dongle on how to do it. When the headset has been

deregistered, its LED blinks red and green alternatingly.

2. Press the key on the A230 for 4 seconds, then place the headset in its charger. The A230‘s red LED dou-

ble-ashes rapidly and turns o when the registration has been successful, while the headmit beeps once

and its LED switches to steady light (green if fully charged, red if charging).

Pairing with C52SP speakerphone

NOTE: If the speakerphone was previously registered to another DECT dongle or a C520-WiMi conference

phone, it must be deregistered rst.

◦For the deregistration from another A230 DECT dongle, see reverse side.

◦ For the deregistration from the C520-WiMi, please refer to the C520-WiMi

user manual.

NOTE: The C52SP‘s battery must be fully charged, and the device must be connected

to a wall outlet via its power adapter. Keep distance between C52SP and A230

at < 30 cm until pairing was successful.

1. Press the white registration button underneath the battery compartment on the

bottom of the speakerphone for 5 seconds until the speakerphone‘s LEDs start ashing red and green

alternatingly.

2. Press the key on the A230 for 4 seconds. The red LED double-ashes rapidly and

turns o when the registration has been successful. The LEDs on the C52-SP briey

turn green and then turn o while the red Power LED turns on.

Pairing with both: One C52 SP and one headset can be registered at the A230.

Using

Accepting calls

1. On the phone, select headset mode. : The C52SP does not ring until headset mode is selected.NOTE

2. You can accept a call ringing on the phone on the headset or on the speakerphone, respectively.

• On the A170/A150 headset, press the call button with LED.

• On the C52SP, press .

Switching between headset and C52SP while in a call

• From headset to C52SP: Press on the C52SP.

• From C52SP to headset: Press the call button with LED on the headset.

Ending calls

• On the A170/A150 Headset press the call button with LED.

• On the C52-SP press .

Adjusting the volume

• A150 Press the respective end of the volume key.:

• A170: Push the lever towards the + or - symbols.

• C52-SP: Press the upper or lower edge, respectively, of the volume key.

Muting and unmuting the microphone

• A150 Press the key labeled "MUTE".:

• A170: Press the key labeled "MUTE".

• C52-SP: Press .
