Preparations
Open the battery compartment by turning the sleeve counterclockwise.
Insert an R6 or LR6 (size AA) battery into the battery compartment in the
correct polarity orientation, and close the battery compartment sleeve.

Notes
ˎIf the battery is not installed in the correct orientation, the battery may
rupture.
ˎUse a new battery as often as possible, and insert it with the correct
/ orientation.
ˎIf the battery voltage is low, the microphone sensitivity drops and
noise and distortion will occur.
If the battery is incorrectly treated, battery leakage or explosion may
result. Observe the following instructions.
ˎInsert the battery with correct orientation ( and ).
ˎDo not attempt to charge the battery.
ˎIf you don’t use the microphone for an extended period of time,
remove the battery from the battery compartment.
If battery leakage has occurred, wipe the battery compartment carefully,
then replace the battery with a new one.

Align the notch on the output connector of the microphone with the
line on the input connector of the unit, and insert.
2 Turn the ring on the microphone connector to lock the connector.
See figure -a) for the pin assignment of the input connector.
Connecting an external power supply (Figure )
The unit can be powered from an internal battery or external power
supply. When the output connector of the unit is connected to an
external power supply, the power circuit automatically switches to the
external power supply. While power is supplied by the external power
supply, the internal battery is not used. However, If the internal battery
voltage is low, the microphone sensitivity drops and noise and distortion
will occur.
ˎUse a Sony AC power supply or equivalent product for the external
power supply.

Préparatifs
Ouvrez le logement pile en tournant le manchon dans le sens inverse
des aiguilles d’une montre. Installez une pile R6 ou LR6 (format AA) dans
le logement pile en respectant l’orientation des polarités et refermez le
manchon du logement pile.
Remarques
ˎSi la pile n’est pas installée dans la bonne orientation, elle pourrait
éclater.
ˎUtilisez une pile neuve aussi souvent que possible et insérez-la dans la
bonne orientation / .
ˎSi la tension de la pile est faible, la sensibilité du microphone diminue
et du bruit et des distorsions apparaissent.
Si vous ne traitez pas la pile correctement, une fuite ou une explosion
peut survenir. Respectez les instructions suivantes.
ˎInsérez la pile dans la bonne orientation ( ). et
ˎN’essayez pas de charger la pile.
ˎSi le microphone doit rester inutilisé pendant une période prolongée,
retirez la pile de son logement.
En cas de fuite de pile, nettoyez soigneusement le logement pile, puis
remplacez la pile par une neuve.

Alignez l’encoche sur le connecteur de sortie du microphone avec la
ligne du connecteur d’entrée de l’unité, puis insérez-le.
2 Tournez la bague du connecteur de microphone pour verrouiller le
connecteur.
Consultez l’illustration -a) pour l’attribution de broche du connecteur
d’entrée.
Connexion à une alimentation externe (Figure )
Vous pouvez alimenter l’unité avec une pile interne ou une alimentation
externe. Quand le connecteur de sortie de l’unité est raccordé à une
alimentation externe, le circuit électrique passe automatiquement
à l’alimentation externe. Lorsque l’alimentation est fournie par une
alimentation externe, la pile interne n’est pas utilisée. Cependant, si la
tension de la pile interne est faible, la sensibilité du microphone diminue
et du bruit et des distorsions apparaissent.

Vorbereitungen
Öffnen Sie das Batteriefach, indem Sie die Hülse entgegen dem
Uhrzeigersinn drehen. Setzen Sie eine R6- oder LR6-Batterie (Größe AA)
korrekt ausgerichtet in das Batteriefach ein und drehen Sie die Hülse
wieder auf.
Hinweise
ˎWenn die Batterie nicht richtig ausgerichtet eingelegt wird, kann sie
bersten.
ˎVerwenden Sie stets neue Batterien und legen Sie diese mit der
richtigen / -Ausrichtung ein.
ˎFalls die Batteriespannung niedrig ist, fällt die Mikrofonempfindlichkeit
ab und es treten Rauschen und Verzerrungen auf.
Bei unsachgemäßem Umgang kann die Batterie auslaufen oder
explodieren. Beachten Sie die folgenden Anweisungen.
ˎLegen Sie die Batterie korrekt ausgerichtet ein ( und ).
ˎVersuchen Sie nicht, die Batterie zu laden.
ˎWenn Sie das Mikrofon längere Zeit nicht verwenden, nehmen Sie die
Batterie aus dem Batteriefach.
Wenn Batterien ausgelaufen sind, wischen Sie das Batteriefach sorgfältig
aus und ersetzen die Batterie.

Richten Sie die Nut am Ausgangsanschluss des Mikrofons auf die
Linie am Eingangsanschluss des Geräts aus und stecken Sie den
Stecker ein.
2 Drehen Sie den Ring am Mikrofon, um den Stecker zu arretieren.

Anschließen einer externen Stromversorgung (Abbildung )
Das Gerät kann über eine interne Batterie oder über eine
externe Stromversorgung mit Strom versorgt werden. Wenn der
Ausgangsanschluss des Geräts mit einer externen Stromversorgung
verbunden wird, wechselt die Schaltung automatisch zur dieser. Bei
externer Stromversorgung wird die interne Batterie nicht verwendet. Falls
jedoch die Batteriespannung niedrig ist, fällt die Mikrofonempfindlichkeit
ab und es treten Rauschen und Verzerrungen auf.
ˎVerwenden Sie als externe Stromversorgung ein AC-Netzteil von Sony
oder ein vergleichbares Gerät.

Pasos previos
Abra el compartimiento de la batería girando el manguito hacia la
izquierda. Coloque una pila R6 o LR6 (tamaño AA) en el compartimiento
para pilas con la polaridad correcta y cierre el manguito del
compartimento para pilas.
Notas
ˎSi la pila no se instala en el sentido correcto, puede que se rompa.
ˎUtilice una pila nueva tan frecuentemente como sea posible e insértela
con la orientación / correcta.
ˎSi la tensión de la pila es baja, la sensibilidad del micrófono bajará y se
producirá ruido y distorsión.
Si trata incorrectamente la pila, esta puede sufrir una fuga o una

ˎNo intente cargar la pila.
ˎSi no va a utilizar el micrófono durante un largo periodo de tiempo,

compartimiento de la pila y cambie la pila por una nueva.

Alinee la muesca en el conector de salida del micrófono con la línea
en el conector de entrada de la unidad e insértelo.
2 Gire el anillo del conector del micrófono para bloquear el conector.

Conexión de una fuente de alimentación externa (Figura )
La unidad puede funcionar con una pila interna o una fuente
alimentación externa. Cuando el conector de salida de la unidad
se conecta a una fuente de alimentación externa, el circuito de
alimentación cambia automáticamente a la fuente de alimentación
externa. Mientras la corriente se suministra a través de la fuente de
alimentación externa, la pila interna no se utiliza. No obstante, si la
tensión de la pila interna es baja, la sensibilidad del micrófono bajará y
