We're proud to welcome you to our Olympus Choir Micro. This compact virtual instrument packs a big sound and pow-
erful performance features, while offering a little taste of the world-class professional choral content and power you can find
in the Olympus Symphonic Choral Collection. Our goal with Olympus Micro was to create an effective introductory
library to help people explore the enormous possibilities that Olympus offers, while providing a fully capable and simple solu-
tion for users that just need the basics.
Olympus Choir Micro includes pair of standard vowel sustains and staccatos - a fortissimo “Ah” and pianissimo “Oo” - sung
by the full ensemble over the full choir range. We also include a pair of “Poly-sustains”, a unique type of sustaining phonetic
articulation sung at a root tempo (100 and 140 bpm in this case). The first syllable is sung to a natural rhythm before pro-
ceeding to a pure sustaining vowel. The final syllable is played as a release sample when you release the note (with the option
to turn the release sample off). The choir sings throughout the poly-sustain in unison on a single pitch. We then record at
whole step intervals over the entire interval range of the choir. We’ve included the classic Latin chant "Dominum" and the
Russian liturgical Slavonic chant “Raduisya”. Lastly, we’ve included a variety of new custom FX presets that expand your crea-
tive options.
The new Version 3.0 now includes full Kontakt Player and NKS support and works with all Native Instruments S-Series
hardware. We’ve also improved the sustains and staccatos, expanded the library with brand new custom FX presets, over-
hauled the user interface and added new tempo-syncing options for the poly-sustain articulations.

to begin your journey. We offer open format Kontakt nki presets with advanced simulated legato, convolution reverb, spe-
cial effects, tempo-synching, a full custom user interface and many other cutting edge features that are fully compatible with
the free Kontakt Player engine and the Komplete Kontrol software and hardware platform by Native Instruments.
More About the full version of Olympus...
We captured our Olympus Symphonic Choir by assembling 63 hand-picked singers from the SF Choral Society, Volti and
the SF Symphony Chorus, under the direction of maestro Robert Geary. We recorded in a large, acoustically optimal A-
frame chapel hidden in the wooded canyons of historic Montclair, in the San Francisco Bay Area. We used the same location
for our Mercury Symphonic Boys’ Choir, Apocalypse Percussion Ensemble and a number of other classic Soundiron instru-
ments and orchestral libraries. We meticulously recorded over 90 solid hours of male (“Mars”) and female (“Venus”) divisi
ensembles and solo SATB articulations, combining traditional deep sampling methods with our own specialized techniques
and intuition to deliver the most capable and comprehensive symphonic choral library available anywhere in the world.
Olympus Choir Micro focuses on the main close microphone position, with men and women recorded in separate sections.
