Front View

Hardware Installation and Operation

1. Connect the SlimPort Breakout Cable to the Micro USB Port

on your Slimport-enabled video source device.

2. Connect a VGA cable (not included) from the VGA Output Port

on the SLMPT2VGA, to the VGA input port on your VGA-enabled

video display device (i.e. television, projector).

3. (Optional) If you would like to provide power to your

smartphone or tablet while connected to the SLMPT2VGA,

connect a USB Power source to the “Micro USB Power Port” on the

SLMPT2VGA using the USB A to USB Micro B cable included with

your mobile device.

4. The output will now appear on the Slimport-enabled device

VGA display.

Rear View

Note: The adapter will not transmit digitally encrypted

content (HDCP). As a result the adapter is intended for use

with Slimport-enabled Chromebook computers such as The

HP Chromebook ™ 11. This adapter is not compatible with the

Google™ Nexus Smartphones/Tablets (4,5,7,10) as these

devices always have HDCP enabled.
