Das Prinzip
Die optionale Fernbedienung zur Serie RS PRO 500x erleichtert die Installation von größeren Beleuchtungs-
anlagen, da nicht mehr jede Leuchte vor dem Verschließen eingestellt werden muss. Es können mit der
FB beliebig viele RS PRO 500x Leuchten gesteuert werden. Jeder gültige Tastendruck wird durch blin-
ken der roten LED hinter der Abdeckhaube am Sensor angezeigt.
Funktionen
Reichweiteneinstellung
Durch Tastendruck kann die Reichweiteneinstellung von min 1 m, 1/3, 2/3 bis max. 8 m vorge-
nommen werden.
Dämmerungseinstellung
Durch Drücken der Tasten ist die Einstellung der gewünschten Ansprechschwelle von min 2 Lux,
100 Lux, 150 Lux, 200 Lux, 300 Lux 500 Lux und max. 2000 Lux erfolgt.
Dämmerungseinstellung über die Speichertaste/Teach-Modus. Bei den gewünsch-
ten Lichtverhältnissen, bei dem der Sensor zukünftig auf Bewegung reagieren soll, ist diese
Taste zu drücken. Der aktuelle Dämmerungswert wird gespeichert.
Dauerlicht
Bei Tastendruck wird die Leuchte für 4 Stunden eingeschaltet. Anschließend geht die Leuchte
wieder automatisch in den Sensorbetrieb über.
Zeiteinstellung
Die gewünschte Leuchtdauer nach letzter Bewegungserfassung kann durch Drücken der Tasten
auf 5 min., 15 min., 30 min. bis 1 h eingestellt werden.
Einstellen der Leuchtdauer auf eine individuell gewünschte Zeit. Jeder Tastendruck erhöht die
gewünschte Zeiteinstellung um jeweils 1 Minute.
Install-Modus. Die Leuchte schaltet für 3 sek. an, sobald Bewegung erkannt wird. Sie umgehen
somit unnötige Wartezeiten bei der Einstellung. Da die Leuchtmittel in diesem Modus stark
verschlissen werden, wird der Modus nach 10 min. automatisch verlassen. Es gilt dann die
minimale Zeit (1 min.). Achtung: Teachmodus und und Install-Modus können nicht gleichzeitig
verwendet werden.
Sensorempflindlichkeit
Bei Fehlschaltungen durch bewegende Objekte kann die Empfindlichkeit des Sensors mit der
Taste reduziert werden, um potentielle Schaltungsgründe auszublenden. Die Taste stellt
die normale Empfindlichkeit her.
LED Orientierungslicht (nur RS PRO 5002 LED)
Die LEDs leuchten bei Erreichen der Dämmerungsschwelle.
Diese Funktion kann auf 10 min. begrenzt werden. Die LEDs leuchten für 10 min. nach Erlöschen
des Hauptlichtes.
Reset
Zurücksetzen aller Einstellungen auf die an der Leuchte manuell eingestellten Werte bzw.
Werkseinstellungen.

Funktionsgarantie
Dieses STEINEL-Produkt ist mit größter Sorgfalt hergestellt, funktions- und sicherheitsgeprüft nach gelten-
den Vorschriften und anschließend einer Stichprobenkontrolle unterzogen. STEINEL übernimmt die Garantie
für einwandfreie Beschaffenheit und Funktion. Die Garantiefrist beträgt 36 Monate und beginnt mit dem
Tag des Verkaufs an den Verbraucher. Wir beseitigen Mängel, die auf Material- oder Fabrikationsfehlern
beruhen, die Garantieleistung erfolgt durch Instandsetzung oder Austausch mangelhafter Teile nach unse-
rer Wahl. Eine Garantieleistung entfällt für Schäden an Verschleißteilen sowie für Schäden und Mängel,
die durch unsachgemäße Behandlung, Wartung oder durch die Verwendung von Fremdteilen auftreten.
Weitergehende Folgeschäden an fremden Gegenständen sind ausgeschlossen. Die
Garantie wird nur gewährt, wenn das unzerlegte Gerät mit kurzer Fehlerbeschreibung,
Kassenbon oder Rechnung (Kaufdatum und Händlerstempel), gut verpackt, an die
zutreffende Servicestation eingesandt wird.

Principle
The optional remote control for the RS PRO 500x-Series makes larger-scale lighting systems easier to
install as it obviates the need to set each light before fitting the cover. The remote control can be used for
controlling any number of RS PRO 500x luminaires. The red LED behind the cover on the sensor flashes to
indicate each valid press of the button.
Functions
Reach setting
Reach can be set from a minimum of 1 m, 1/3, 2/3 to a maximum of 8 m by pressing
these buttons.
Twilight setting
Pressing these buttons sets the chosen response threshold from a minimum of 2 lux, 100 lux,
150 lux, 200 lux, 300 lux, 500 lux to a maximum of 2000 lux.
Twilight setting using the memory button/Teach mode. This button must be pressed at the
level of light at which you want the sensor to respond to movement from now on. The current
twilight value is saved.
Manual override
Pressing this button switches the light 'ON' for 4 hours. The light then returns to sensor mode
automatically.
Time setting
The period of time you want the light to stay on for after last detecting movement can be set
from between 5 min., 15 min., 30 min. and 1 h by pressing these buttons.
Setting the light to stay 'ON' for a time of your own choice. Each press of the button increments
the chosen time setting by 1 minute.
Install mode. The light switches 'on' for 3 sec. as soon as movement is detected. This avoids
unnecessary waiting times while making settings. As the lamps are subject to heavy wear
in this mode, it is automatically terminated after 10 min. The light then stays 'ON' for the
minimum time (1 min.). Attention: Teach mode and Install mode cannot be used at one
and the same time.
Sensor sensitivity
If moving objects cause the light to come 'ON' when you do not want it to, sensor sensitivity
can be reduced by pressing the button to ignore potential reasons for activation. The
button stores normal sensitivity.
LED orientation light (RS PRO 5002 LED only)
The LEDs light up when the twilight threshold is reached.
This function can be limited to 10 min. The LEDs stay on for 10 min. after the main light
goes out.
Reset
Resets all settings to the values selected on the light manually or to the
factory settings.
Burn-in function (100 hours)
The burn-in function is activated by pressing buttons

Functional warranty
This STEINEL product has been manufactured with the greatest care, tested for proper operation and safety
in accordance with applicable regulations and then subjected to random sample inspection. STEINEL guar-
antees that it is in perfect condition and proper working order. The warranty period is 36 months, starting
on the date of sale to the consumer.We will remedy defects caused by material flaws or manufacturing
faults. The warranty will be met by repair or replacement at our own discretion. The warranty does not
cover damage to wear parts or damage and defects caused by improper treatment, maintenance or the
use of non-genuine parts. Further consequential damage to other objects is excluded.
Claims under the warranty will only be accepted if the unit is sent fully assembled and
well-packed with a brief description of the fault, a receipt or invoice (date of purchase
and dealer's stamp) to the appropriate Service Centre.
Service
Our Customer Service Department will repair faults not covered by warranty or
after the warranty period. Please send the product well packed to your nearest
Service Centre.

Le principe
La télécommande de la série RS PRO 500x en option facilite considérablement la mise en place de grandes
installations d'éclairage, car il n’est plus nécessaire d’ouvrir le capot de chaque lampe pour procéder aux
réglages. La télécommande permet de commander un nombre quelconque de lampes RS PRO 500x. La
LED rouge située sous le capot de la lampe s’allume pour indiquer la prise en compte de la valeur pro-
grammée via la télécommande.
Fonctionnement
Réglage de la portée
Réglage de la portée (1 m, 1/3, 2/3, jusqu’à 8 m. max).
Réglage de crépuscularité
Réglage du seuil de crépuscularité (2, 150, 200, 300, 500 ou 2000 lux).
Réglage de crépuscularité avec la touche mémorisation/mode Teach. Quand la luminosité
ambiante a atteint la valeur à laquelle le détecteur devra réagir en cas de mouvement, appuyer
sur la touche. La valeur de crépuscularité actuelle est enregistrée.
Eclairage permanent
Appuyer sur cette touche pour passer en mode éclairage permanent (durée 4 heures). La lampe
repasse ensuite automatiquement en mode détection.
Temporisation
Réglage de la durée d’éclairage après le dernier mouvement détecté (5 min, 15 min, 30 min
ou 1 heure)
Réglage de la durée d'éclairage à une durée individuelle souhaitée. Chaque pression de touche
augmente la temporisation souhaitée d'une minute.
Mode installation La lampe s’allume pendant 3 s environ dès que le détecteur identifie un mou-
vement. Vous évitez ainsi les attentes inutiles lors du réglage. Comme ce mode use beaucoup les
ampoules, l’appareil quitte automatiquement le mode au bout de 10 min. La lampe est ensuite
réglée sur la durée minimum (1 min). Attention: le mode Teach et le mode installation ne peu-
vent pas être utilisés en même temps.
Sensibilité du détecteur
En cas de déclenchement intempestif en raison d'objets mouvants, la sensibilité du détecteur
peut être réduite au moyen de la touche pour éliminer les causes de déclenchement. La
touche établit la sensibilité normale.
Lumière d'orientation LED (uniquement RS PRO 5002 LED)
Les LED s’allument lorsque le seuil de crépuscularité est atteint.
Cette fonction peut être limitée à 10 minutes. Les LED s’allument pour une durée de 10 minutes
après extinction de l’éclairage principal
Réinitialisation
Tous les réglages sont remis aux valeurs programmées manuellement ou aux valeurs d'usine.

La fonction déverminage peut être actionnée en appuyant de gauche à droite sur les différentes
touches

Ce produit STEINEL a été fabriqué avec le plus grand soin. Son fonctionnement et sa sécurité ont été
contrôlés suivant des procédures fiables et il a été soumis à un contrôle final par sondage. STEINEL garantit
un état et un fonctionnement irréprochables. La durée de garantie est de 36 mois et débute au jour de la
vente au consommateur. Nous remédions aux défauts provenant d'un vice de matière ou de construction, la
garantie sera assurée à notre discrétion par réparation ou échange des pièces défectueuses. La garantie ne
s'applique ni aux pièces d'usure, ni aux dommages et défauts dus à une utilisation ou maintenance incor-
rectes, ou à l'utilisation de pièces non homologuées par le fabricant. Les dommages consécutifs causés à
d'autres objets sont exclus de la garantie. La garantie ne s'applique que si l'appareil
non démonté est retourné au point de service après-vente le plus proche, dans un
emballage adéquat, accompagné de la description brève de la panne et d'un ticket de
caisse ou d'une facture portant la date d'achat et le cachet du vendeur.
Service
Le service après-vente de notre usine effectue également les réparations non couvertes par la garantie ou
survenant après l’expiration de celle-ci. Veuillez envoyer le produit correctement emballé à la station de
service après-vente la plus proche.
