Gebruik
Stel de temperatuur
• Selecteer de temperatuur (zie onderstaande tabel) door de
thermostaat tegenover het merkteken te zetten.
• Het controlelampje van de thermostaat gaat aan. Deze gaat weer uit
wanneer de strijkzool op temperatuur is.
• Uw strijkijzer wordt snel warm; begin daarom met strijkgoed dat op
een lage temperatuur gestreken dient te worden en strijk vervolgens
het strijkgoed dat een hogere temperatuur verdraagt.
• Indien u strijkgoed van gemengde vezels strijkt, stel dan de
strijktemperatuur in op de meest kwetsbare vezelsoort. Voor tere
weefsels raden wij u aan een test uit te voeren op een niet zichtbaar
deel van de kleding (bijv. de zoom).
Het is normaal dat tijdens het strijken het controlelampje aan- en
uitgaat. Als u de temperatuur lager zet, wacht dan tot het lampje
opnieuw gaat branden voordat u verder gaat met strijken.
Het opbergen van uw strijkijzer
• Haal de stekker uit het stopcontact.
• Wacht tot de strijkzool is afgekoeld en rol het snoer om de achterkant
van het strijkijzer.
• Zet het strijkijzer op zijn voetstuk.
Plaats uw strijkijzer altijd op het voetstuk om beschadiging aan uw
strijkzool te voorkomen.
Attentie: Het plaatsen van uw strijkijzer op een metalen ondergrond
kan uw strijkzool beschadigen.
Schoonmaken van de strijkzool
• Wanneer de zool nog lauw is kunt u deze reinigen door er met een
vochtige (niet metalen) spons over te wrijven.
Gebruik nooit agressieve of schurende schoonmaakproducten.

Wees vriendelijk voor het milieu !

Veiligheidsadviezen
• De veiligheid van dit apparaat voldoet aan de geldende technische
voorschriften en normen (elektromagnetische compatibiliteit, laagspanning,
milieu).
• Dit apparaat mag niet gebruikt worden door kinderen of andere personen
zonder hulp of toezicht, indien hun fysieke, zintuiglijke of mentale vermogen
een veilig gebruik niet mogelijk maken. Er moet toezicht op kinderen zijn,
zodat zij niet met het apparaat kunnen spelen.
• Attentie: Controleer voor gebruik of de spanning van uw elektriciteitsnet
overeenstemt met die van uw strijkijzer. Een foutieve aansluiting kan
onherstelbare schade veroorzaken en de garantie teniet doen.
• Uw strijkijzer dient aangesloten te worden op een geaard stopcontact. Indien
u een verlengsnoer gebruikt, dient deze geschikt te zijn voor de spanning van
het strijkijzer (zie typeplaatje).
• Indien het elektriciteitssnoer beschadigd is, moet dit onmiddellijk vervangen
worden door een erkend reparateur om gevaar te voorkomen. Controleer
het snoer regelmatig op eventuele defecten of breuken.
• Indien uw strijkijzer is gevallen of een harde schok heeft ondergaan, dient u
het apparaat altijd te laten controleren door een erkend reparateur (zie
service-lijst). Zelfs indien er aan de buitenkant geen schade is, kan er inwendig
toch schade zijn ontstaan. Het strijkijzer niet meer gebruiken wanneer er
problemen zijn tijdens het functioneren. Demonteer het apparaat nooit zelf,
laat het altijd nakijken door een erkend reparateur, om elk risico uit te sluiten.
• Dompel uw strijkijzer nooit onder in water!
• Trek niet aan het snoer om de stekker uit het stopcontact te trekken. Haal de
stekker uit het stopcontact voordat u het strijkijzer reinigt en na elk gebruik.
• Laat het apparaat nooit zonder toezicht wanneer het op het elektriciteitsnet
is aangesloten en zolang het niet ca. 1 uur afgekoeld is.
• De strijkzool van uw strijkijzer kan zeer heet worden ; raak deze nooit aan en
laat het strijkijzer afkoelen voordat u het opbergt.
• Uw strijkijzer moet gebruikt en geplaatst worden op een stabiele
ondergrond; wanneer u het strijkijzer op het strijkijzerplateau zet, controleer
dan of het oppervlak waarop u deze plaatst stabiel is.
• Dit product is uitsluitend geschikt voor huishoudelijk gebruik. Bij een onjuist
gebruik of een gebruik waarbij de instructies niet in acht genomen worden,
kan de fabrikant geen aansprakelijkheid erkennen en is de garantie niet
meer geldig.

replaced by an Approved Service Centre to avoid any danger.
• The appliance should not be used if it has fallen, if it has obvious
damage, or has functional anomalies. Never dismantle your appliance:
have it inspected by an Approved Service Centre, so as to avoid any
danger.
• Never immerse your iron in water !
• Never leave the appliance unattended when it is connected to a power
source; if it has not cooled down for approximately 1 hour.
• Do not unplug your appliance by pulling on the cord. Always unplug
your appliance: before cleaning it, after each use.
• Your iron should be used and placed on a stable surface. When you put
your iron onto its iron rest, make sure that the surface on which you put
it is stable.
• This product has been designed solely for domestic use. Any
inappropriate use or use contrary to the instructions releases the brand
from all responsibility and renders the guarantee invalid.

Use
Adjust the temperature
• Select the temperature (see table below) setting the thermostat facing
the indicator.
• The thermostat light comes on. It will go out when the soleplate is hot
enough.
• Your iron heats up quickly : so begin by ironing fabrics that are ironed at
low temperatures first, then go on to those requiring a higher
temperature.
• When ironing fabrics with mixed fibres, set the ironing temperature for
the most delicate fibre. For delicate fabrics we recommend testing the
fabric first on an inconspicious place eg (inside the hem).
It is normal for the indicator light to switch on and off during ironing.
If you turn down the thermostat, wait until the thermostat light
comes back on before beginning to iron again.
Storage and Maintenance
Store your iron
• Unplug the iron.
• Wait until the soleplate cools down and Wind the cord around the heel
of the iron.
• Store the cold iron on its heel
Always set your iron on its heel, in order to avoid domage or
scratching to the soleplate. Caution: placing your iron flat onto a
metallic surface might domage or scratch the soleplate.
Cleaning the soleplate
• Unplug the iron, and when the soleplate is just warm, wipe it with a soft
cloth.
Never use abrasive or aggressive products.
