(75µAtypical)andverylowdropoutvoltage(typical

40mVatlightloadsand380mVat100mA).They

areideallysuitedforuseinbattery-poweredsystems.

Furthermore,thequiescentcurrentofthedevice

increasesonlyslightlyindropout,prolongingbattery

life.

CarefuldesignoftheLP2950-N/LP2951-Nhas

minimizedallcontributionstotheerrorbudget.This

includesatightinitialtolerance(0.5%typical),

extremelygoodloadandlineregulation(0.05%

typical)andaverylowoutputvoltagetemperature

coefficient,makingthepartusefulasalow-power

voltagereference.

Onesuchfeatureisanerrorflagoutputwhichwarns

ofalowoutputvoltage,oftenduetofallingbatteries

ontheinput.Itmaybeusedforapower-onreset.A

secondfeatureisthelogic-compatibleshutdowninput

whichenablestheregulatortobeswitchedonand
