Cuando vaya en bicicleta, no mire al ciclocom-
putador durante períodos prolongados de tiempo
(F1). Si no se fija en la carretera, podría chocar
contra algún obstáculo, lo que le haría perder el
control y caer.
Existen tres maneras de utilizar el botón Modo (F2):
• Pulsar: pulsar una vez.
• Pulsar repetidamente: pulsar varias veces seguidas.
• Mantener: mantener pulsado durante dos o tres
segundos.

Si el ciclocomputador es nuevo (o si ha reemplazado
la pila), deberá programar las unidades elegidas, el
tamaño de las ruedas de la bicicleta y la hora.
Cuando se extrae el ciclocomputador de la banda,
la función de inicio automático se deshabilita para
ahorrar pila. Para encenderlo, pulse el botón Modo.
1. Quite la banda de montaje de plástico del manillar.
2. Enfrente del botón Modo, pulse hacia arriba en la banda
(F3) hasta que se eleve el borde del ciclocomputador.
3. Deslice el ciclocomputador con suavidad hacia el lado
opuesto al botón Modo, para extraer el botón de la
banda.
Para instalar el ciclocomputador en la banda, realice
estos pasos en orden inverso.
Si reinicia el ciclocomputador, también deberá ajustar
las unidades y el tamaño de las ruedas.
1. Extraiga el ciclocomputador de la banda.
2. Pulse el botón RESET (el botón pequeño de la parte
posterior del ciclocomputador, F4) Aparece la
pantalla de velocidad (CUR) y en ella parpadea KMH o
MPH (F5).
3. Pulse repetidamente el botón Modo para cambiar el
valor.
4. Pulse el botón SET para confirmar la selección
Aparece el número de cuatro dígitos correspondiente al
tamaño de rueda, con el primero de los dígitos parpade-
ando.
5. Determine el número correcto de cuatro dígitos
correspondiente al tamaño del neumático, según la
tabla (F6).
6. Pulse repetidamente el botón Modo para cambiar el
primer dígito.
7. Pulse el botón SET para confirmar la selección
Parpadea el siguiente dígito.
8. Repita los pasos 6 y 7 para confirmar la selección y
ajustar los cuatro dígitos Aparece la pantalla TRP.
9. Coloque el ciclocomputador en la banda de nuevo.
1. Extraiga el ciclocomputador de la banda.
2. Pulse repetidamente el botón Modo hasta que aparezca
la pantalla CLK (F5).
3. Pulse el botón SET (en la parte posterior del ciclocom-
putador) Parpadea el número 12 (formato de 12

reloj de 12 o 24 horas.

While riding your bicycle, do not stare at the
computer for long periods of time (F1). If you do
not watch the road, you could hit an obstacle,
which could cause you to lose control and fall.
There are three ways to use the mode button (F2):
• Push- press once
• Cycle- press repeatedly
• Hold- press and hold in for two or three seconds

Current speed of the bicycle in miles per hour
(MPH) or kilometers per hour (KMH)
TRP
Trip distance
Accumulated distance (Mi or KM) since last
Restart.
CLK
Clock
Time of day, displays in hours and minutes
When the computer is new (or if you have replaced
the battery) the computer must be programmed for
your choice of units, the size of the wheels on your
bicycle, and the time.
When the computer is removed from the band, the
autostart feature is disabled to save battery life. To
wake it, press the mode button.
1. Remove the plastic mounting band from the handlebar.
2. Opposite the mode button, press up on the band (F3)
until the edge of the computer lifts.
3. Gently slide the computer sideways, away from the
mode button, to disengage the button from the band.
To install the computer in the band, reverse these steps.
If you reset the computer, you must also set the units
and wheel size.
1. Remove the computer from the band.
2. Push the RESET button (the tiny button on the back of
computer, F4) the speed screen (CUR) appears with
KMH or MPH (F5) flashing.
3. Cycle the mode button to change.
4. Push the SET button to select the four-digit number
for wheel size appears, with the first digit flashing.
5. Determine the correct four-digit number for the tire
size, as shown in the chart (F6).
6. Cycle the mode button to change the first digit.
7. Push the SET button to select the next digit
flashes.
8. Repeat step 6 and step 7 to select and set all four digits
the TRP screen appears.
9. Place the computer back into the band.
1. Remove the computer from the band.
2. Cycle the mode button to CLK (F5).
3. Push the SET button (on the back of the computer)
12 (hour clock) flashes.
4. Cycle the mode button to 12 or 24 hour clock.
5. Push the SET button to select Hour flashes.
6. Cycle the mode button to change the Hour.
7. Push the SET button to select Minutes flashes.
8. Cycle the mode button to change the Minutes.
9. Push the SET button to select the clock (CLK)
screen appears.
10. Place the computer back into the band.

Si se quita la pila, el ciclocomputador establece
automáticamente los totales de TRP a cero.
1. Extraiga el ciclocomputador de la banda.
2. Quite los cuatro tornillos de la cubierta de la pila (F4).
3. Retire la tapa, dejando la pila al descubierto.
Tenga cuidado de no quitar la anilla de goma que sirve como sello.
4. Quite la pila antigua.
5. Inserte la pila nueva con la ‘cruz’ y la etiqueta identifi-

Your computer records Trip data, the distance you
have ridden since the last ReStart.
1. Cycle the mode button to Distance (TRP).
2. Hold the mode button Distance (TRP) reads 0.0.
Blank screen Computer is in shipping mode. Push a button.
Battery is dead, or installed incorrectly. Reinstall
good battery.
Erratic data Magnet misaligned or too far away. Re-adjust mag-
net and sensor placement.
Battery power is low. Replace battery.
No current
speed
Magnet misaligned or too far away. Re-adjust mag-
net and sensor placement.
Speed is
incorrect.
Wheel size is incorrect. Reset the computer.
Sensor is not reading magnet properly. Readjust
magnet and sensor alignment.
If the computer is giving erratic information, a
battery may be running low. Replace the batteries
whenever the computer malfunctions, or every 6
months. When purchasing new batteries, it is best to
take the old batteries to the store with you.
• CR2032, lithium cell, 3 volts
When the battery is removed, the computer automati-
cally resets TRP to Zero.
1. Remove the computer from the band.
2. Remove the four screws that secure the battery cover
(F4).
3. Lift the battery cover, exposing the battery.
Be careful to avoid removing the rubber O-ring seal.
4. Remove the old battery.
5. Insert the new battery with the ‘cross’ and identifying
label pointing up.
6. Replace the battery cover and install the four screws.
7. Place the computer back into the band.
Trek Bicycle Corporation warrants each new Incite
computer against defects in workmanship and
materials.
This warranty covers:
• Trek Incite computer models for a period of two years
from the date of sale.
This warranty does not cover:
• Normal wear and tear, including the length of battery
life
• Improper assembly
• Installation of parts or accessories not originally
intended for, or compatible with the component as
sold
• Damage or failure due to accident, misuse, abuse, or
neglect
This warranty is void in its entirety by any modifica-
tion of the component or its parts.
This warranty is expressly limited to the repair or
replacement of a defective item and is the sole remedy
of the warranty. This warranty extends from the date
of purchase, applies only to the original owner, and is
not transferable. Trek is not responsible for incidental
or consequential damages. Some states do not allow
the exclusion of incidental or consequential damages,
so the above exclusion may not apply to you.
Claims under this warranty must be made through
an authorized dealer. Proof of purchase is required.
This warranty gives the consumer specific legal
rights, and those rights may vary from place to place.
This warranty does not affect the statutory rights of
the consumer.
