• Ifequipmentrequiresside-to-sideairow,modifyinstallationprocedureasspeciedinSide-to-Side Airflow Installation.

Installation Procedure
1 Removeyourenclosure’ssidepanels.Leavegapsofapproximately1/8inch(3mm)asshowninthediagramtoaccommodateeachsidepanel’stop,
interiorandbottomhorizontalstruts.Useapenciltomarktheappropriateplacementofeachgasketandgapasshowninthediagram.Conrmproper
alignmentwithsidepanelsbeforeproceeding.
2 Foreachadhesivegasket A, Bor Cshowninthediagram,removethebackingfromtheadhesive
stripandattachthegaskettotheforwardmountingrailasshowninthediagram.Repeatforboth
oftheenclosure’sforwardmountingrails.Note:Ifequipmentrequiresside-to-sideairow,modify
installationprocedureasspeciedinSide-to-Side
Airflow Installation.
3 Insertanon-adhesivegasket Dinsideeachhorizontal
crossbeam.Compressthegasketmaterial,pushitinto
theopeningandarrangeittosealthegap.48Uand
42Uenclosureshaveatotalof6crossbeams.25U

Ifyourequipmentrequiresside-to-sideairow,followtheinstructionsfor
standardinstallationwiththefollowingexception:insteadofattaching
thegasketstotheforwardmountingrails,attachthegasketstoone
forwardmountingrail
andonerearmounting
rail.Attachgasketsto
thefrontleftandrear
rightrailsifequipment
requiresright-to-left
airow;attachgasketsto
thefrontrightandrear
leftrailsifequipment
requiresleft-to-right
airow.Thediagram
