The Vello Ringbox is an on-
camera softbox that produces
the same beautiful, soft lighting
as an expensive ring light. The
Ringbox is perfect for close-up
fashion shooting, providing
flattering lighting for your
subject’s face and creating
ring-shaped catchlights in
their eyes. It helps to evenly
illuminate your subject and
reduce unwanted shadows
and intrusive lighting in the
background, adding depth
to the photo and drawing
attention to your subject. The
Ringbox is also ideal for macro
and medical photography,
encircling the lens for lighting
your subject without shadows.
The Ringbox collapses to
an 8" disc and weighs under
a pound, so you can take it
nearly anywhere you take
your camera. The Ringbox
is compatible with most
on-camera flashes and lenses,
making it a great fit for the
