How to use your Total Curl

Foruseondryhaironly.

•Removeallpackagingandsalelabelsbeforeuse.

•Washandconditionyourhairasusual.Ensurethathairisdry,

combedthroughandtangle-free.

•Aplasticcoverhasbeenplacedovertheplugtoprotectitfrom

damage.Removetheplasticcoverbeforeinsertingintopoweroutlet.

•Connectanattachmenttotheunitbeforeinsertingitintothepoweroutlet.See

‘Howtoconnectanattachment’formoreinformation.

•

Plug the appliance into a suitable power outlet and select the desired temperature

settingbypushingtheswitchto‘I’or‘II’.Theredindicatorlightwillilluminate.

•‘I’temperaturesettingisthelowerheatsettingand‘II’isthehigherheatsetting.

N.B. when using the 16mm or 25mm curling tongs, there is a temperature indicator

dot located on the barrels of the tongs and it will turn white when the unit has

reached the ideal temperature.

•Allowthestylertoheatupandthenitisreadytouse.

WARNING:

Thisisahighheatappliance.Caremustbetakentoavoidthehotsurfacesofthe

appliance coming into direct contact with the skin, in particular the eyes, ears, face

and neck.

IMPORTANT:

Hair that has been heavily bleached or chemically treated should only use the low heat

setting on this product. Please consult your hairdresser on using heated appliances if you

have any concerns about the condition of your hair.

How to connect an attachment:

Connectanattachmenttotheunitbeforeinsertingitinto

the power outlet.

1. Hold the handle with the switch facing up.

2. Place the metal rods of the attachment into the

connectorsinsidethebodyoftheunit.(Fig.1)

3.Presstheattachmentinrmlyandlocktheunitby

turning the ring towards ‘LOCK’(Fig2.)

How to remove the attachment:

Toremovetheattachmentafteruse,rstallowtheunit

to cool completely.

How to use the curling tongs:

1. Take a section of hair and place the curling tong at

the bottom of the hair section; then spread hair evenly

between the the clamp and the barrel. To avoid crimped

ends, make sure they are securely wound underneath

the clamp in the direction of the desired curl.

2.Rollthethetongupthehairsectionasfarasyouwantittobecurled,being

careful not to let the appliance touch the scalp. Hold in place for 10 to 15

seconds.Forloosercurlsrollmorehair,fortightercurls,rolllesshair.

3.Toremovethecurlingtong,unwindthehair.To‘set’thecurldonotcombor

brushhairuntilitcools.Itissuggestedtousethecoolshotbuttononyourhair

dryertohelpnishthecurlforalongerlastingeffect.

4.Styletheremainingsectionsuntilallhairiscurled.

N.B.Someexperimentingisnecessarywhenusingacurlingtongforthersttime.

How to use the brush sleeve attachment:

Forgentler,softercurlsusetheslip-onbrushwiththe16mmcurlingtong.

1.Makesurethebarreliscool.Slidethebrushoverthebarrel.

2. Take up a section of hair and roll around the brush, hold for about 15 seconds and

gently unroll the hair.

3. Allow your hair to cool before styling

How to use the spiral attachment:

Fortightandwell-shapedcurls,usetheslip-onspiralattachmentwiththe16mm

curling tong.

1.Makesurethebarreliscool.Slidethespiralattachmentoverthebarrel.

2.Takeupasectionofhairofabout2-3cmandrollitaroundthespiral,holdfor

about 15 seconds and gently unroll the hair.

3. Allow your hair to cool before styling

N.B. for a better hold, mist the section of hair lightly with hairspray before working

with it.

How to use the double wave tongs (Fig 3.):

A new attachment for creating superb, wavy curls.

1.Ensurehairisdry

2. Take a section of hair of about 5cm.

3. Place the section between the two tubes.

4.RollitaroundtubeAandthenaroundtubeBina

gure“8”.Continuerollinginthiswayuntilthesection

is rolled around the tubes. The ends should be near the cool tips.

5. Hold for 15 seconds and gently unroll and allow the wave to cool after styling.
