Face Jr™
WHAT IS THE GARBAGE FACE JR PEDAL??
Matthew Holl, the owner of Wren and Cuff has had a
working relationship with J Mascis of Dinosaur Jr for many
years now. Eventually Matthew approached J with the idea
of doing a signature pedal made to sound like J’s favorite
vintage muff pedal.
That pedal, an early 70’s “ram’s head” Big Muff® that he
purchased while on tour in 1987 is the model used to
create the Garbage Face Jr. Matthew and J working
together made sure that the final unit was a dead on
replica of his treasured pedal.
The Controls:
VOLUME
Makes it louder or not so loud when ya turn it.
TONE
Changes the position of the mid-notch in the EQ
GAIN
Adds more distortion/fuzz

CURRENT DRAW
This pedal will draw around 5.5mA
POWER
This pedal has no option for a battery. A center-negative 2.1mm barrel
regulated power supply (typical guitar pedal power unit) must be used.
Please use a power supply intended for effects pedals.
BYPASS
Effect on/off switching is done via a 100% mechanical 3PDT foot-switch,
otherwise known as “true- bypass”
