Camera Model Selection
T recognition distance between the camera and the target varies based on the camera focal he
length. Yo should select the proper focal lens in order to get enough pixels in the frame. u

Camera Installation
In order to get the best accuracy, please follow the guidelines below when installing your device.
1. It is recommended to use one device to cover one lane.
2. It’s recommended that the height of a license plate should be at least 20 to 30 pixels.

Camera Installation Height
Take note of the recommended installation height (H) and its corresponding detection distance
(L). The detection distance can be calculated as : L = tan 30 x H
Camera Installation Angle
To obtain the best license plate recognition accuracy, install your device with a proper angle to get
a clear image.
