withmanyADArequirements.

Installation KitoftheAngleMount 

TheAngleMountKitsaredesignedtoutilizeexistingornewlyinstalledgangboxes,with a new

back backboxtoreplacethe boxincludedwiththetouchpanel.ToinstallanAngleMountKit

anditsaccompanyingtouchpanel:

1. Beforestartingthe theinstallation,ensurethatEthernetcablehasbeenpulledto gang

box,andthatallappropriatePowerOverEthernet(PoE)injectorshavebeenconnected

to the to the cablegoing  gangbox.

2. Ifthegangboxalreadyhasanexistingfixtureordeviceinstalledinit,removethefixture

ordevicetoexpose   the gang box (FIG.2).



3. Pull Ethernetthe cableintothegangbox,makingsurethatthemaleRJ‐45connectoris

accessiblewithinthegangbox.

4. Matchthe the the thescrewconnectorholeson gangboxwith holesin backbox(FIG.

3).

• TheAnyMountKitbackboxhasmultipleholestoallowforsingleordoublegangbox

design, designsandforstandardgangbox fromtheUS,UK,EUandAustralia.

• Examinehowthebackboxrestsonthegangbox‐lookforgapsbetweenthebackbox

andthewallsurface.



• Ifthegapbetweenthewallandthebackboxisexcessive,or ofiftheinstallation  the

backboxexposestoomuchofthe thegangbox,youmayapply  optionalfoamgasket

( )66‐ ‐2265 29 tothebackofthebackbox.Peeltheadhesivebackingoffth egasketand

carefullyapplyittothebackboxsurface(FIG.4).

5. Oncethepropermountingpositionofthebackboxisconfirmed,attachthebackboxto

thegangbox,usingeitherthescrewsusedwiththeoriginalfixtureordeviceorwiththe

includedscrewsintheAngleMountKit(FIG.5).

WARNING:Becarefulnottoover‐tightenthescrews‐thiscanbowordamagethe

backbox.

Note:Ifnecessary,          the back box can be removed and the foam gasket installed.



7. PullenoughslackontheEthernetcablethroughthebackboxtoallowthecabletoreach

thetouchpanel’sRJ45connector (FIG. 6). 



8. Removethetouchpanel’sbackboxto theaccess backofthepanel. 

9. Inserteachconnectorintoitscorrespondinglocationalongthebackofthetouchpanel.

10. Testthe theincomingwiringbyattaching panelconnectionstotheirterminallocations

andapplyingpower.

Note:Verifythatthepanelisreceivingpowerandfunctioningproperlytoprevent

repetition of theinstallation.

11. Latchthepanel boxontothe thetophookson back androtateitdown(FIG.7).



WARNING:ifyouseeagapbetweenthepanelandthebackbox,orfeelanybindingwhile

lockingdownthepanel,stopimmediatelyand no areverifythat cablesorotheritems inthe

way.Donotforcethe thepanel position,into asthiscan cause damageto touchscreenor

thepanelelectronics.

RemovingtheTouchPanel

Inordertoaccessthe back ofthetouchpanel,  such as toinstall a USBconnectionforfirmware

upgrades,thedevicemayneedtoberemovedfromthebackbox.Toremovethetouchpanel: 

1. Fromthe thebottom,pullgentlyoutwardfrom backbox.Gentlyrockthepanel back 

andforthto thefreethebottomfrom backbox.

2. Rotateitupto therelease toplatchhooks,andcarefullypullthedevicefreefromthe

backbox. Take carenottodamageor pull theconnectionsonthebackofthedevice,

orto thepullthebackboxfrom gangbox.


