IP-12SYSP

1. Remove power from the IPX that will be used to power the IP-12SYSP.

2. Connect the field wiring leads to pins 13 and 14 of the IPX endpoint speaker.

3. Using a measuring device, mark off 12.25" from one end of the tile.

4. Carefully cut tile on mark using utility knife, drywall saw, or RotoZip™.

5. Remove E.O. box cover (A) on enclosure.

6. Use two wire nuts to attach the white (+) and black (-) leads to the field wiring.

7. Install the IP-12SYSP into the grid with the unit’s tile support edge facing out from the installation location. If the speaker location is not favorable,

the tile support edge may be moved to the other side of the IP-12SYSP.

8. Replace the cut section of the acoustic tile.

9. Apply power to the IPX and configure.

Note: Wiring cavity is not intended to be used as a junction box. A UL recognized conduit clamp must be used for conduit connections.

Installation must comply with all Building Codes and NFPA guidelines. Installation must adhere to N.E.C. and NFPA 70/72 wiring directives and comply

with all National and Local Building Codes.
