311 Electronic Oce Scale
User Instructions
Operation
1. Place the supplied batteries in the battery compartment on the bottom of
the scale. Be sure to observe battery polarity marked inside the
compartment. Replace the compartment cover.
2. Place the scale on a flat, stable surface.
3. ON/TAREPress the button.
When 0 appears, the scale is ready for weighing. See Changing Unit
of Measure below.
4. Turn the scale off by pressing the button. OFF
To perform a Tare
1. ON/TAREPlace a container on the platform for taring and press the
button.
The display will return to zero, eliminating the weight of the container.
2. Put the material or object to be weighed in the container.
The net weight will be displayed.
3. Remove everything from the scale.
The display will show a negative weight.
4. ON/TAREPress again to remove the tare weight.
Scale weight returns to . 0
Auto O
To save battery power, the scale turns o automatically approximately one and
a half minutes after the last key press or weight change.
Changing Unit of Measure
Press the button to change the unit of measure from g to kg to lb/oz.UNITS
