RESULT IN SERIOUS INJURY.
NOTE: Your new Burley flex connector
should exactly match your old Burley
connector.
– Square tow bar = 4 ridges
– Round tow bar = smooth
These pieces are NOT interchangeable.

Remove trailer from bicycle. Remove trailer from bicycle.
Remove existing bolt

Remove shoulder bolt

in end of tow bar, and disconnect
trailer tow bar from hitch.
Remove bolt and lock nut

Remove old flex connector

end of tow bar and insert new
connector, aligning hole in connector
with holes in tow bar

From the top, re-install bolt

through tow bar

securely tighten lock nut.
Refer to Classic Hitch Manual for
attaching the tow arm to the hitch
and connecting to your bicycle.
Remove old flex connector

from end of tow bar and insert
new connector, aligning hole in
connector with holes in tow bar

From the top, insert new bolt
through safety strap grommet,
tow bar, and D-ring/clip, and
securely tighten new lock nut.
Refer to trailer manual for
connecting trailer to bicycle.
