Tone Generator
1. Hold down [ MODE/BEAT ] until
thefrequency appears on thedisplay.
2. Turn theknob (8) to set thedesired
frequency, 420–460Hz.
3. Press [ / ] to switch thetone ►
generator on/off.
4. Hold down [ MODE/BEAT ] again to
return to metronomemode.
1. Remove thebattery cover on
theback of themetronome
by sliding it in thedirection of
thearrow.
2. Insert 2×AAA/LR03
batteries. Notethepolarity
markings on thebottom of
thebattery holder to ensure
correct insertion.
3. Refit thebatterycover.
Operating mode
Themetronome has two operating modes, Metronome and
ToneGenerator. Metronome is thefactory defaultmode.

1. Hold down [ ] until thedisplay /►
comes on to switch themetronomeon.
2. Press [
/ ] to start, turn thesound ►
off andstop.
3. Turn theknob (8) to set
thedesiredtempo.
4. Press [ MODE/BEAT ] quickly to select thetime signature, -/4, 1/4,
2/4, 3/4, 4/4, 3/8 or 6/8.
5. Press [ RHYTHM ] to set thedesired
rhythm.
6. Press [ PRE-B. ] to select
thebeatcount.
7. Press [
] to select clicksound.
Care and maintenance
• Wipe themetronome clean with asoft dampcloth. Useonly mild
cleaning agents, never solvents or corrosive chemicals.
• Remove thebatteries if themetronome is not to be used for
alongtime.
Troubleshootingguide
Themetronome
won’t turnon.
• Are thebatteriesdead? Replace if necessary.
• Is themains adaptor undamaged and
securely connected to both theelectrical
socket and themetronome?
• Is theelectrical socket live?
Nosound. • Is thevolume turnedup?
• Check that thesound is not switched off,
press [
/ ] to switch thesoundon.►
No sound when
listening with
headphones.
• Is thevolume turnedup?
• Are theheadphones intact and properly
connected to themetronome?
