Please read theentire instruction manual before

using and save it for future use. Weapologise

Safety

• This product is aprecision instrument and

should be handled with care and protected

from blows and rough treatment.

• Place thescale in thesame place every time

you weigh yourself.

• For accurate readings, thescale should be

placed on ahard, level surface. Anuneven

floor beneath thescale can cause

thereadings to fluctuate.

• Weigh yourself without clothing at thesame

time of day, preferably in themorning before

breakfast. Placeyour feet in thesame place

every time you weigh yourself.

• The displayed readings are rounded up/

down to thenearest 100 g.

• The scale can be cleaned using adamp

cloth, if and when required. Makesure

that no moisture gets inside theproduct.

Neveruse strong solvents or detergents.

• Keep thescale away from water and

splashes; otherwise theelectronic

components can be damaged.

• Do not store thescale standing on its edge

as thedisplay will be on all thetime and

drain thebattery.

• Remove thebattery from thescale if it is not

to be used for an extended period.

• The scale can be affected by changes

in temperature or by being moved.

Inaccuratereadings may occur if thescale

is too cold when used. Allowthescale to

stand and acclimatise for approx. 24 hours

before using it for thefirst time.

Battery

Remove theisolating plastic tab between

thebattery and thebattery holder before first use.

Changing thebattery: Carefully press thelocking

tab in to release thebattery cover and then

remove thebattery. Insertanew battery

(CR2032). Replacethebattery cover.

When thebattery needs changing, “Lo” appears

on thedisplay.

Use

Warning!Bearin mind that theglass surface might

become slippery in humid atmospheres. Makesure

that thesurface is dry before stepping onto thescale.

1. Placethescale on ahard and flat surface

(avoid placing thescale on amat or other

soft surface).

2. Toactivate thescale: Tap thetop of

thescale gently with one of your feet.*

Afterafew seconds “0.0” will appear on

thedisplay. Thescale is now ready for use.

3. When“0.0” appears on thedisplay,

carefully mount thescale with your weight

evenly distributed between both legs

and between thetoes and heels of your

feet. Remainstationary until thedisplay

shows asteady reading for afew seconds.

Thedisplay flashes when areading has

beentaken.

4. Thescale automatically shuts off when you

step off it.

Note that thereadings can be given in either

kilograms (kg), pounds (lb) or stones (st). Thereis

switch on thebottom to change theunits.

* The scale is activated by abuilt-in vibration sensor.

Care and maintenance

Clean the product by wiping it with a soft,

dampcloth. Never use solvents or abrasive

cleaning agents.

Follow local ordinances when disposing of this

product. Ifyou are unsure of how to dispose of

this product, please contact your local authority.
