opening or hose.
9. Do not use outdoors or operate where
aerosol (spray) products are being used
or where oxygen is being administered.
10. Do not use an extension cord to
operate dryer.
11. Do not direct hot air toward eyes or other
heat-sensitive areas.
12. Attachments may be hot during use.
Allow them to cool before handling.
13. Do not place appliance on any surface while
it is operating.
14. While using the appliance, keep your hair out
of it. Keep your hair away from the air inlets.
15. Do not use with a voltage converter.
16. This appliance is not a toy. Keep away from
children.
For a dual-voltage hair dryer:
17. Be sure dual-voltage selector is in correct volt-
age position before operating. Before plugging
in, read the information about dual voltage
contained in the Additional Information section
of this manual.
18. This appliance was set at the factory to
operate at 125 volts. Refer to Additional
Information section of this manual for con-
version to 250-volt operation.

OPERATING
INSTRUCTIONS
This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade
is wider than the other). As a safety feature, this
plug will fit in a polarized outlet only one way. If the
plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug.
If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician.
Do not attempt to defeat this safety feature.
IMPORTANT
1875 WATT OPERATING GUIDE
Use of any 1875 watt dryer on the same
circuit or fuse with other electrical products or
appliances may trip a 15 amp circuit breaker or
blow a 15 amp fuse.
NEVER replace the fuse with one rated higher
than the capacity of the circuit. Doing so could
result in an electrical fire.

AUTO-MONITORING ALCI SAFETY PLUG
WITH LED INDICATOR
IF THE ALCI LED INDICATOR LIGHT IS FLASHING
CONTINUOUSLY, THIS INDICATES THAT THE ALCI
IS NOT FUNCTIONING PROPERLY. STOP USING
AND RETURN APPLIANCE TO AN AUTHORIZED
SERVICE CENTER.
CHECK ALCI SAFETY FEATURE EVERY TIME
YOU USE THE APPLIANCE.
This appliance is equipped with an auto-monitoring
function Appliance Leakage Circuit Interrupter
(ALCI), a safety feature that provides protection
against electrical shock under abnormal conditions,
such as immersion in water. To ensure that the ALCI
is functioning properly, perform the following test.
1. Plug in the appliance with the power off and
press the test button on the ALCI (see diagram).
2. There will be an audible click, the reset button
will pop out and the LED indicator will be off. The
appliance will not turn on. This indicates the ALCI
is functioning properly.
3. To reset the ALCI, the unit should be unplugged.
Then press the reset button and plug the unit back
into the outlet. The appliance should work normally
when switched on.
4. Be sure to repeat this test each time you use the
unit to confirm that the ALCI is operating properly.
5. If the appliance shuts off and the reset
button pops up during use, this could indicate a
malfunction. Remove the plug from the outlet and
allow the appliance to cool. Press the reset button
and plug it into the outlet. The appliance should
function normally. If not, send it to an authorized
service center for evaluation.
6. IF THE UNIT IS IMMERSED IN WATER. DO NOT
ATTEMPT TO RESET AND USE THE APPLIANCE.
IT SHOULD BE SENT TO AN AUTHORIZED
SERVICE CENTER IMMEDIATELY.

BRUSH/COMB ATTACHMENT STYLING BASICS &
INSTRUCTIONS
Shampoo and condition hair with products of
your choice. Gently towel-blot hair to remove
excess moisture. Part hair into sections. Follow
the instructions to achieve your desired style.
NOTE: To prevent overdrying, reduce setting to
LOW when hair is almost dry.
FOR STRAIGHTENING OR RELAXING
Select the brush attachment and set dryer on
HIGH speed. Hold dryer securely in one hand
and use brush to firmly grasp a section of hair
at roots. Roll hair around brush with one turn
of your wrist, then pull downward. Continue
process until hair is dry. Repeat the above with
each hair section.
FOR EXTRA VOLUME AND DETANGLING
Select the detangling comb attachment and set
dryer on speed. Hold dryer securely in one LOW
hand and use a natural combing action to fluff
hair, beginning at the roots. Move from section to
section until hair is dry.

FOR CREATING FULLNESS
Select the brush attachment and set dryer on
HIGH speed. Starting at the nape of the neck,
first lift hair up and away from the scalp with

PRUEBE EL INTERRUPTOR DE CONTROL DE
POTENCIA ANTES DE CADA USO.
Este aparato cuenta con un enchufe equipado con un
interruptor de control de potencia (ALCI, por sus siglas en
inglés) automático, una función de seguridad que brinda
protección contra descargas eléctricas en condiciones
anormales, p. ej., si el aparato se cae al agua. Haga la
prueba siguiente antes de cada uso, para comprobar que
el interruptor de control de potencia está funcionando
correctamente:
1. Enchufe el aparato (no lo prenda) y apriete el botón de
prueba (véase el gráfico).
2. Escuchará un “clic”, el botón de reinicio saltará y el
indicador luminoso estará apagado. El aparato no se
prenderá. Esto significa que el interruptor de control de
potencia está funcionando correctamente.
3. Para reajustar el interruptor de control de potencia,
desenchufe el aparato. Luego, presione el botón de reinicio
y vuelva a enchufar la unidad. El aparato debería funcionar
de forma normal al prenderlo.
4. Pruebe el interruptor de control de potencia antes
de cada uso para comprobar que está funcionando
correctamente.
5. Si el aparato se apaga y el botón de reinicio salta
durante el uso, esto puede indicar un mal funcionamiento.
En caso de que esto suceda, desenchufe el aparato y
deje que se enfríe. Presione el botón de reinicio y enchufe
el aparato en la toma de corriente. El aparato debería
funcionar normalmente. De no ser así, envíelo a un centro
de servicio autorizado para su revisión.
6. SI LA UNIDAD SE HA CAÍDO AL AGUA, NO INTENTE
REAJUSTAR EL INTERRUPTOR DE CONTROL DE
POTENCIA Y USAR EL APARATO. DEBE ENVIARLO
INMEDIATAMENTE A UN CENTRO DE SERVICIO

GUÍA PARA UN SÚPER PEINADO
La mejor apariencia empieza por un corte de
cabello bien mantenido. Siempre cuide su cabello
con champús, acondicionadores y productos de
peinado de calidad superior.
FUNDAMENTOS DEL PEINADO
Lave y acondicione su cabello con los productos
deseados. Séquelo suavemente con una toalla
para eliminar el exceso de agua. Divida el cabello
en secciones. Sigas las instrucciones para crear
el estilo deseado. baje la temperatura en NOTA:
los últimos minutos del secado para evitar dañar
el cabello.
PARA ALISAR O SUAVIZAR EL CABELLO
Instale el cepillo sobre el secador. Elija el ajuste
de temperatura/velocidad alto (HIGH). Sosteniendo
firmemente el secador en una mano, agarre una
sección de cabello al nivel de la raíz con el cepillo.
Enrolle el cabello alrededor del cepillo con un giro
de la muñeca, y luego jale hacia abajo. Continúe el
proceso hasta que el cabello esté seco. Repita el
proceso en cada sección.
PARA AGREGAR VOLUMEN Y DESENREDAR
Instale el peine para desenredar sobre el secador.
Elija el ajuste de temperatura/velocidad bajo (LOW).
Sosteniendo firmemente el secador en una mano,
peine el cabello, empezando en la raíz, para darle
volumen. Repita el proceso en cada sección, hasta
que el cabello esté seco.
