Phone Line Recorder and Tester

Allows you to record telephone conversations unobserved, (no click can be heard when the RECORD button is

pressed) and can also be used to test your telephone line.

Please read the entire instruction manual before using and save it for future use. We apologise for any text or photo errors

Installation

As a line recorder

• Connect the recorder’s RJ45 plug to the telephone jack.

• Connect your telephone to the TEL jack on the recorder.

• Connect the supplied microphone cable to the MIC jack on the recorder and to the microphone input (3.5 mm Mono) on

your computer.

• If you wish to record all or part of the conversation, simply press RECORD or the necessary combination of buttons on

your computer to start the recording.

• Recording will commence without a clicking sound or any change in the sound level. Recording will proceed silently and

unnoticed.

As a line tester

• Connect the recorder’s RJ45 plug to the telephone jack.

• Press the button on the line recorder. If it lights up, the line is OK. If it does not light, the line is out of function.
