Introduction

The Crestron®---CLXDINAP3 3Series Control System

®

is designed for CAEN, CAENCAENIB-MLO, and

AE utomation nclosures. There are two models. The

CLX--DINAP3 model includes a DIN- 3-AP3Series

®

Automation Processor and -- DINPWS30277Cresnet

®

Power Supply prewired and mounted on a

CAEN- UMP1X2 Universal Mounting Plate. Model

CLX---- DINAP3HUB includes the DINHUB Cresnet

Distribution Hub as well.

Refer to the illustration on this page for an example of

mounting location and orientation within a single-wide

enclosure. The table beneath the illustration lists the

dimensions and weight.

The CLX--DINAP3 and CLX---DINAP3HUB install in

an identical manner. For simplicity within this guide, the

term “CLX-- DINAP3” is used except where noted.

Installation

The CLX-- DINAP3must be mounted in accordance with

all national and local codes.

NOTE: Adhere to Class Class 2 wiring 1 and

requirements when considering the equipment attached to

the CLX-D- INAP3in an enclosure.

Use the four screws (8B x 1/4”, supplied) to attach the

CLX-- -DINAP3to a CAEN, CAENMLO, or CAENIB

AE--utomation nclosure. Mount the CLXDINAP3 as

shown in the illustration on this page. The flanges of the

plates should not overlap other plates or lighting modules

that are mounted in the enclosure.

Once the CLX--DINAP3 is mounted to the automation

enclosure, two cables (supplied) must be connected as

shown in the illustration on this page. The 6 in (153 mm)

cable (4519362the ) connects CAEN-BLOCK Cresnet

port 457to t-he DINAP3 Cresnet port. The 18 in ( mm)

flat cable (4519661) connects the CAEN-BLOCK to the

CLX module connector.
