Edimax's ES-5824PH switch is a superb choice for boosng your medium to large network's performance and

eciency. The 24-port 10M/100M with 24-port PSE/PoE rack-mount PoE Web Smart Fast Ethernet Switch is

designed to seriously strengthen the network connecon of your network environment. The 19" switch

(including rack-mount brackets) will t neatly into your exisng rack environment.

Complies with IEEE 802.3af Power over Ethernet (PoE) ports

Edimax's ES-5824PH features 24 IEEE 802.3af Power over Ethernet ( ) ports that supply up to 15.4 was of PoE

electricity per port. It can convert standard 90~260V/AC power into low-voltage DC that runs over exisng LAN

cables to supply power to IEEE 802.3af compliant network accessories. The Edimax ES-5824PH features PoE

device detecon to verify whether individual, connected devices are IEEE 802.3af compliant or not, so only

data will be sent via the LAN cable if the device is not a PoE or PE device. Various products such as Access PoE

Points, IP cameras or IP phones are easily connected to the switch, making it the perfect soluon when power

outlets are dicult to install or exisng power outlets are too far from devices.

No Special Networking Cable Required

Reduce your installaon me and cost by using a standard Cat-5 Ethernet cable to link between the Edimax ES-

5824PH switch and powered devices (PE). The Ethernet cable will then transmit both data and power, so you

won't need all those extra power cables to your powered devices (PE).

Supports Smart Features

Edimax's ES-5824PH Web smart features put you in control of your network and oers extra protecon on the

network edge. It can be managed through a Web Browser and smart features include everything from simple

QoS/CoS applicaons and basic monitoring tools to improve network eciency, to a remote access password-

protected conguraon interface for the IT manager's mobility and IGMP snooping to reduce broadcast trac

from streaming and other bandwidth intensive IP applicaons. The ES-5824PH also supports bandwidth control

and port based VLAN, so an administrator can set up VLANs to segregate trac, QoS to priorize mission-

crical data and link aggregaon to create fat trac pipelines.

Supports Auto-MDI/MDI-X

Each port of the Edimax ES-5824PH automacally detects the type of cable connecng to it, so there's no need

to choose crossover or parallel cables when you connect it to another switch or computer.

Supports Auto-Negoaon

Each port of the Edimax ES-5824PH automacally disnguishes whether connected network devices are

running at 10Mbps, 100Mbps and Half or Full-Duplex mode, and then adjusts the speed and mode accordingly.

Supports Non-Blocking wire speed

The Edimax ES-5824PH switch allows you to run a high speed network smoothly by receiving and forwarding

trac seamlessly with its non-blocking wire-speed. Each port of the ES-5824PH can run at up to 200Mbps in

full-duplex mode, and they can do so simultaneously, providing full wire speed to all devices connected.

Supports Store and Forward Architecture

With a store and forward architecture, the Edimax ES-5824PH maximizes your network's performance while

minimizing the propagaon of bad network packets.
