3.1GETTINGSTARTED/POWERSUPPLY

(1)Removethetransportationpin()D2fromtheclockmovement.

Theclockcanbehasoperatedonlyafterthepinbeenremoved.

(2)Insertbatteryone(1.5V,AA/LR6)intobatterycompartment(D5).

Makesuretoplacethestrictlytothebatteryaccordingright

polarities(+/‐)asshownin

thebatterycompartment.

3.2TIMESETTING

AftertheclockhasreceivedtheMSFtimesignalthetimewillbeset

accordingtotheCentralEuropeantime(CET).Summerandwinter

timechange(andreverse)isalsosetautomatically.Otherdeviating

timescanbesetmanuallyonly.

3.3AutomatictimesettingviaMSFtimesignal

Afterinsertingwillthethebattery,timebesetautomaticallyviaMSF

signal.takeThisprocessmayafewminutes(about‐57minutes).

Duringthisprocess,theclockhandswilltimesturnseveralandmay

pauseuntiltheydisplaytherighttime.

3.4InitiatetoreceivetheMSFtimesignalmanually

Usechangethisfunctionwhensummer/winterautomatictimedoesnot

workorthewallclocktemporarilyreceivesnotimesignal.

(1)PressandholdtheRECbutton()D1for3secondstostartmanual

searchfortheMSFsignal.

(2)Theclockhandswilltomovetheirstartposition(12:00

a.m.)

andthetriesthewallclockthentoreceivesignal.

Waitapprox.‐25minutestimeuntilthecurrentwillbedisplayed.

3.5Manualtimesetting

Itistimenecessarytothesetmanuallyinplaceswherenoradiosignal

isreceived.

(1)Pressandholdapprox.theM.SET()D3buttonfor3seconds.

(2)Whentheminute’shandstartsmovingyoucansetthetimemanually:

‐PresstheM.SET()D3buttontosetthe

timeinminutes.

‐PressandholdtheM.SET(D3)buttontosetthetimecontinuously.

(3)ReleaseM.SET()D3buttontostopmanualsettingandsavethetime

automatically.Exitthemanualtimesettingmode.

3.6Reset

Ifthereisnoresponsefromthe2

nd

handonthewallclockiforifany

othermalfunctionoccursperformthefollowingsteps.

Withthisprocedureallreceiveddatabedeleted.will

(1)PressRESETbutton()D4withapointedinstrument(e.g.pen).

(2)Theclockhandwillstartmovetotheposition(12:00a.m.)andthe

wallclockwilltrythetoreceivesignal.

Waitapprox.2‐5minutesuntilthecurrenttimewillbedisplayed.

zInsert2xAAsizebatteriesobservingpolarity(+and–).Youwillhear

a“click”soundwhichwillconfirmthebatterieshavebeeninserted

correctly.

zReplace(batterycompartmentcoverC2).

Youhave1minutetothearrangefirstsetting.Theclockdisplays

English,presspress“▲”(B2)”or▼”(B3)toselectyourlanguageand
