Installazione dell’unità
1. CollegareilcavoUSB2.0alcomputereall’unità.
2. L’unità verràriconosciuta automaticamente dal sistemae larelativa iconaverrà
visualizzatain“Risorsedelcomputer”(Windows)osulla“Scrivania”(Mac).
ATTENZIONE: Prima di iniziare ad utilizzare l’unità è necessario procedere alla
formattazione.Sipregadifareriferimentoal manualedel proprio sistemaoperativo
perlacorrettaproceduradiformattazione.

scaricareirelatividriver.
Scollegare dispositivi USB
Seildispositivoèdotatodiunaspiadiattività,primadiscollegarloattenderequalche

Se viene visualizzata l’icona “Rimozione sicura dell’hardware” nell’area di notica
nellapartedestra dellabarradelleapplicazioni,èpossibileutilizzarlaperrimuovere
ildispositivo.
1. Fareclicsull’icona“Rimozionesicuradell’hardware”.
2. Fareclicsull’unitàchesidesiderascollegare.
3. Viene visualizzato il messaggio “Rimozione sicura dell’hardware” o un altro
messaggio equivalente.Aquesto puntola periferica può essererimossa senza
alcunproblema.

Hard Disk installation
1. Unscrewthetwoxingscrewsandremovetherearpanel.
2. Pullouttheinternalboardfromthealuminumbox.
3. Dependingonthe interfaceofthe harddisk you wantto install,connectit tothe
SATAorIDEconnectoroftheboard.
4. Tightentheharddiskdriveatthebaseoftheboardwiththescrews,thenputitback
intothealuminumenclosure.
5. Replacetheback panelintoitsslotandsecureitwiththescrews.Thediskisnow
readytouse.
Device installation
1. ConnecttheUSB2.0cabletoyourcomputerandtothedrive.
2. Thedrivewillmountin“MyComputer”(Windows)oronyour“Desktop”(Mac).
IMPORTANT NOTE:Beforeusingyourexternalstoragedevice,theharddrive must
beformatted.PleaserefertoyourOperatingSystemmanualforthecorrectformatting
procedure.

Connecting and disconnecting USB devices
MostUSBdevicescanberemovedandunpluggedatwill.Whenunpluggingstorage
devices,suchasUSBashdrives,youshouldbesurethatthecomputerhasnished
savinganyinformationtothedevicebeforeremovingit.Ifthedevice hasanactivity
light,waitforafewsecondsafterthelighthasnishedashingbeforeunpluggingit.
Windows Users
Ifyouseethe“SafelyRemoveHardware”iconinthenoticationareaatthefarright
ofthetaskbar,youcanusethistoensurethatdeviceshavenishedalloperationsin
progressandarereadytoremove.
