DESCRIPTION: This device is a single pole/3-way
switch which can be operated by a contactless
wave gesture. Can be used alone, with another
wave switch, or any 3-way switch.
DIRECTIONS:
1. Disconnect power to circuit by removing fuse
or turn circuit breakers OFF before installing.
Before wiring, verify that power has been
removed by testing with a circuit tester at the
outlet box.
2. To replace existing device, remove wall plate
and pull device from box. If new installation,
skip to step 5.
3. Label wires connected to existing device.
4. Disconnect existing device.
5. Stripwirestolengthof1⁄2”usinggaugelocated
on device back.
6. If neutral is available in the box, remove the
label from the back of the product and connect
to WHITE. Install device per corresponding
wiring diagram 1.
7. If neutral is not available in box, the device
will function as long as it is properly grounded.
Install device per wiring diagram 2.
8. Torque terminal screws to 14-16 inch-pounds.
9. Mount the device to wall box.
10. Adjusting the sensing distance. Remove switch
cover using a flat head screwdriver (Figure
1). Turn sensor distance setting to desired
sensitivity (Figure 2). Replace switch cover and
test. NOTE: In multi-gang installations, a short
sensing distance may eliminate false switching.
11. Attach wall plate, then restore power to circuit.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS:
Device turns on and off when it detects an object
in close proximity to the face of the device.
WARNING: Do not pair different size wires in the same terminal. If you
have different size wires, use a wire nut to add a 6 inch pigtail of the same
gauge wire to the smaller gauge wire.
AVERTISSEMENT : Ne pas associer des fils de section différente dans
la même borne. Avec des fils de section différente, utiliser un capuchon de
