SAFETY INFORMATION FOR THE SAFE USE OF SMARTBAND
Carefully read the safety notes and consult the online user manual before using the product. Keep this
informaon for future reference and include it when passing the product to third pares. Use the product
and its accessories only for the intended use, respecng the indicated electrical specicaons and in indoor
and protected environments, to avoid serious risks. Keep the product away from heat sources, direct
sunlight, moisture, and liquids. The device should not be used by children or those unable to understand
the risks. Do not leave the product charging for too long or connected to the power supply when not in use
or if you suspect malfuncons. Avoid shocks, falls, crushing, or rough handling that could cause dangerous
situaons. Never aempt to disassemble or repair the product in case of defects. If liquid leaks from the
product, avoid contact with skin or eyes; in such cases, immediately wash the aected area with water and
consult a doctor. Keep the box and especially the bags away from children to prevent the risk of suocaon
or accidental ingeson. Avoid using the device near medical devices, such as pacemakers. For any doubts
regarding the operaon, safety, or connecon of the product, contact Esprinet customer service. Do not use
the device during acvies that require high concentraon to avoid distracons and accidents. The product
requires lile maintenance and can be cleaned only with a so, clean cloth, without the use of aggressive
detergents or chemicals. This product is not a toy. Keep the device and its accessories out of the reach of
children and animals. Do not use the device in hospitals, on airplanes, and in environments with electronic
equipment that may suer interference from radio frequencies. Unless expressly stated on the technical
sheet, the product is not suitable for immersion in water or other liquids, do not touch the product or its
accessories with wet or damp hands or other body parts. The results of oxygen saturaon monitoring, heart
rate monitoring, and blood pressure monitoring are for reference only, they cannot be used to determine
the actual state of the human body, they cannot be used for medical tesng purposes and as a judgment on
the health of the body. Esprinet S.p.A. will not be liable in any way for injuries or damages caused to people
or property resulng from improper use of the product.
USAGE
This HRM chest strap is a new heart rate monitoring device used to detect heart rate values/zones and
duraon in tness/training, such as exercise, running, cycling, hiking, swimming, all kinds of sports, etc., in
order to reach the exercise intensity in the target HR (Heart Rate) zone and duraon to achieve the
maximum training eect each me.
Please consult your doctor before starng any exercise roune to ensure you are healthy enough and get
professional advice on the appropriate heart rate zones for training from a doctor or personal trainer.
HOW TO WEAR
To get the best possible reading of heart rate values, we recommend wearing the HRM chest strap as
follows:
1. Remove the heart rate belt accessories (the sensor and the belt) from the pack
2. Thoroughly wet the two vinyl electrodes of the belt with water
3. Aach the sensor to the belt
4. Wear the heart rate belt. The electrodes must be in contact with the skin when worn.
5. Adjust the length of the belt to reach a comfortable state. The heart rate belt will start transming
the signal.
WIRELESS PAIRING WITH THE STRAVA APP
If you have not previously installed the Strava app on your smartphone, scan the following QR code to
download and install it on your smartphone:
Aer installing the app, proceed with the Wireless pairing:
1. Make sure your wireless pairing system is acve.
2. Locate "Record > Tap the heart rate icon > Available sensors. The app will automacally search for
the available “CHESTBAND” sensor
3. Tap the heart rate sensor to connect correctly.
Select "Done" on the recording screen to view your real-me heart rate for recording.
