aqualified electrician. Contact your local authorities if you

are unsure.

Ensure that there are no electrical wires or water pipes in

theceiling where you intend to drill/screw.

Installation

Care and maintenance

• Always unplug thelight and let thebulb cool before

cleaning it or changing thebulb.

• Theproduct should be cleaned using adry cloth or

vacuum cleaner.

Product description

• This light fitting is intended for hanging from theceiling.

• Supply voltage: 230V.

• Lamp base: E27.

• Bulb: 1×E27, max 30W (sold separately)

• Adjustable distance to ceiling, max 1,5m.

Preparations

Make sure that you have aceiling hook to attach thelight

fittingto.

• If your ceiling has alamp socket with aceiling hook,

thelight fitting can be hung onthat.

• If your ceiling has no pre-installed hook you should fit

ahook capable of supporting theweight of thelight fitting

to theceiling using anappropriate method of fasteningit.

Note: Always disconnect thepower to

thecircuit you are working on by unscrewing

thefuse or switching thecircuit breaker off

depending on thetype of breaker system you

have in your consumerunit.

1. Loosen theceiling cup’s

strain relief screw (1) so

that thelead moves freely.

2. Remove theterminal

block (3), if necessary,

from thehanging loop

(2) in order to connect

theincoming neutral wire

(blue) to theterminal block

terminal marked “N”.

Connect theincoming live

wire (usually brown) to

theterminal marked “L”.

Note: InScandinavia you

are allowed to connect aclass ll (non-earthed ) plug (sold

separately) to this lamp fitting.

3. Refit any removed terminal block back onto theplastic

plate and adjust thelead to thedesired length by threading

it through thehangingloop.

4. Hook thehanging loop onto aceiling bracket/hook.

5. Push theceiling cup flush against theceiling and tighten

thestrain relief screw securely.

6. If you should need to shorten thelead by cutting it, make

sure that it is disconnected from themains power supply.

Attach thesupplied cable tie

3 cm under thepoint where thelead is to be cut in order to

prevent thefabric from fraying.

7. Screw thelight bulb (sold separately) into

thesocket of thelamp holder.

8. Turn thepoweron.

This symbol indicates that this product

should not be disposed of with general

householdwaste. Thisapplies throughout

theentire EU. Inorder to prevent any harm to

theenvironment or health hazards caused by

incorrect waste disposal, theproduct must

be handed in for recycling so that thematerial

can be disposed of in aresponsible manner.

Whenrecycling theproduct, take it to your

local collection facility or contact theplace of

purchase. Theywill ensure that theproduct is

disposed of in anenvironmentally sound manner.
