[MASTER VOLUME] knob
Adjusts the volume that is output from the OUTPUT and PHONES
jacks.

KEYBOARD
[SINGLE] (DRUMS) button
Turns the single mode on/o.
Turn this button on (the button lights up) while holding down
the [SHIFT] button to play the drum kit by using the keyboard (p.
10).
[SPLIT] button
Turns the split function on/o.
* Hold down the [SPLIT] and [DUAL] buttons at the same time to
switch the Super Layer function on/o.
[DUAL] button
Turns the dual function on/o.
* Hold down the [SPLIT] and [DUAL] buttons at the same time to
switch the Super Layer function on/o.
[CHORD] button
Turns the chord memory function on/o (p. 10).
[TRANSPOSE] button
Turns the transpose (key shift) feature on/o (p. 8).
Press the OCTAVE [DOWN] or [UP] button while holding down this
button to raise or lower the keyboard’s pitch range in semitones.
OCTAVE [DOWN] [UP] buttons
Raises or lowers the key range in steps of an octave (p. 9).
[ARPEGGIO] button
Turns the arpeggiator on/o (p. 9).
Press this button while holding down the [SHIFT] button to make
the arpeggio hold.

SOUND MODIFY
[1]–[4] sliders
(REVERB, PAD, LOWER, UPPER)
These give you control over the REVERB, PAD, LOWER, UPPER
parameters. Press the [SLIDER ASSIGN] button under the [4] slider
to control the parameters that are assigned to the [1]–[4] sliders
(p. 9).
[SLIDER ASSIGN] button
When this button is pressed, you can control the functions that
are assigned to the SOUND MODIFY [1]–[4] sliders (p. 9).

[WRITE] button
Use this button to save the settings you’ve edited.
[MENU] (KEY TOUCH) button
Shows the menu screen (p. 16).
If you press another button or move a slider while holding down
this button, the related settings screen is shown (p. 4).
Press this button while holding down the [SHIFT] button to
display the KEY TOUCH screen (p. 8).
[DAW CTRL] button
Press to use this instrument as a controller for your DAW.
For details, refer to the “Reference Manual” (Roland website).
[SHIFT] button
Use this button together with other buttons to switch between
functions.
Display
Shows various information depending on the operation.
Value dial
Changes the values. When you hold down the [SHIFT] button and
turn the dial, the value changes by a larger amount.
[FAVORITE] (NUMERIC) button
Turns the favorite function on/o.
Press this button while holding down the [SHIFT] button to select
numeric mode.
In numeric mode, you can use the [1]–[10] buttons to select a tone
or a scene.
