GLASS BREAK DETECTOR TESTER

The TESTER INDIGO is designed for testing glass-break detectors.
1. Features
Generating the sound of breaking plate, tempered or laminated glass.
Automatic turn-off to conserve battery life.
Battery status control.
LED indicator.
2. Description
Legend for Fig. 1:
buttons:
L - press to generate the sound of breaking
laminated glass.
P - press to generate the sound of breaking
plate glass.
T - press to generate the sound of breaking
tempered glass.
If the tester is OFF, press and hold down the
button for about 2.5 seconds to turn the tester on
and generate the sound. If the tester is ON,
pressing the button will instantly generate the
sound.
red color LED to indicate:
tester warm-up – flashing rapidly.
tester ON, battery OK – a flash every 2.5
seconds.
tester ON, low battery – steady light.
If the LED indicates a low battery, replace
the battery as soon as possible.
Use only 9V 6LR61 alkaline batteries.
Be particularly careful during installation
and replacement of the battery. The
manufacturer is not liable for the
consequences of incorrect installation of
the battery.
The used batteries must not be discarded, but should be disposed of in
accordance with the existing rules for environment protection.

3. Operation
The sound emitted by the tester is very loud, so do not use the device at
a distance less than 1 meter from your ear.
Before the first use of the tester, remove the battery cover and connect the battery.
Pressing one of the tester buttons emits the glass breaking sound.
To turn on the tester, press and hold one of the buttons for about 2.5 seconds (the glass
breaking sound will be emitted).
If not used, the tester will turn off automatically after 20 seconds.
4. Glass break detector test
1. Enable test mode in the detector.
2. Put the detector at the planned installation place.
3. Place the TESTER INDIGO at the glass, in the window part which is the farthest away
from the detector, and press the button that generates the glass breaking sound
appropriate for the window.
4. If the detector reports an alarm, continue installation. If the detector does not report an
alarm, increase the detection sensitivity of the detector or select a different detector
installation location and repeat the test.
Notes:
If the window is covered by roller blinds or curtains, place the tester behind closed blinds /
curtains.
For large windows, test the detector several times. Each time put the tester in another
part of the window.
