INTRODUCTION INTRODUCCIÓN
The Barrel Lock Mounting Bracket Kit is used to mount
a barrel lock on a Square D
®
combination service
entrance device.
El accesorio de soporte de montaje de seguro tipo barril se utiliza
para montar un seguro tipo barril en una base integral de medición
para acometida Square D
®
(CSED).
INSTALLATION INSTALACIÓN

HAZARD OF ELECTRIC SHOCK, EXPLOSION, OR ARC
FLASH
• Apply appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and
follow safe electrical work practices. See NFPA 70E.
• This equipment must only be installed and serviced by
qualified electrical personnel.
• Turn off all power supp kit will be lying the equipment where this
installed before working on or inside equipment.
• Always use a properly rated voltage sensing device to
confirm power is off.
• Replace all devices, doors and covers before turning on
power to this equipment.

• Utilice equipo de protección personal (EPP) apropiado y siga las prácticas
de seguridad eléctrica establecidas por su Compañía, consulte la norma

y prestar servicio de mantenimiento a este equipo.
• Desenergice el equipo en el que se instalará este accesorio, antes de
realizar cualquier trabajo en él.
• Siempre utilice un dispositivo detector de tensión nominal adecuado para
confirmar la desenergización del equipo.
• Vuelva a colocar todos los dispositivos, las puertas y las cubiertas antes de
volver a energizar el equipo.

1. Turn off all power supplying the equipment where this kit
will be installed.
1. Desenergice el equipo en el que se instalará este accesorio.
2. Install the barrel lock bracket to the bottom endwall with
the mounting screw, provided. Torque the screw to
30–40 lbs-in. (3.4–4.5 N•m).
2. Instale el soporte de candado tipo Tambor en la pared final inferior
utilizando el tornillo de montaje provisto. Apriete el tornillo de 3,4 a
4,5 N•m (30 a 40 lbs-pulg).
3. Remove the knockout from the pull section cover. 3. Retire el disco removible de la cubierta de la sección de extracción
de cables.
4. Install the barrel lock mounting hardware according to
the barrel lock manufacturer’s instructions.
4. Instale los herrajes de montaje del candado tipo Tambor de acuerdo
con las instrucciones del fabricante.
