AVVERTENZE!
INSTALLAZIONE
• Prima di installare e/o usare la cappa leggere attentamente le
istruzioni.
• Il produttore declina qualsiasi responsabilità per danni dovuti ad
installazione non corretta o non conforme alle regole dell’arte.
• Si raccomanda di far eseguire tutte le operazioni relative all’installazione
e alla regolazione da personale qualicato.
• Una volta rimossa la cappa dall’imballo vericarne l’integrità. ln caso il
prodotto fosse danneggiato non utilizzare il prodotto e rivolgersi alla rete
di assistenza Smeg.
• Prima di effettuare qualsiasi collegamento assicurarsi che la tensione di
rete corrisponda alla tensione riportata sull’etichetta caratteristica situata
all’interno dell’apparecchio.
• Per apparecchi in Classe I accertarsi che l’impianto elettrico domestico
garantisca un corretto scarico a terra.
• La distanza minima tra il piano di cottura e la parte inferiore della cappa
deve essere almeno di 650mm.
• L’aria aspirata deve essere convogliata in un condotto usato per lo non
scarico dei fumi di apparecchi alimentati a gas o altri combustibili.
• Collegare l’uscita dell’aria aspirata dalla cappa a condotti di scarico fumi
di diametro interno adeguato e non inferiore a 120 mm.
• Deve essere sempre prevista un’adeguata areazione del locale quando la
cappa o apparecchi funzionanti a gas vengono usati contemporaneamente.
• Se il cavo di alimentazione è danneggiato, esso deve essere sostituito
dal costruttore o dal suo servizio assistenza tecnica o comunque da una
persona con qualica similare in modo da prevenire ogni rischio.
• Rispettare le prescrizioni di legge relative allo scarico dell’aria da evacuare
nel funzionamento aspirante della cappa.
USO
• Non cucinare o friggere in modo da provocare amme libere a forte
intensità che possono essere attirate dalla cappa in funzione e potrebbero
causare un incendio.
• Non preparare ambè sotto la cappa da cucina; Pericolo di incendio
• La cappa può essere utilizzata da bambini di età inferiore a 8 anni e
da persone con ridotte capacità siche, sensoriali o mentali, o prive di

esperienza o della necessaria conoscenza, purché sotto sorveglianza
oppure dopo che le stesse abbiamo ricevuto istruzioni relative all’uso
sicuro dell’apparecchio e alla comprensione dei pericoli ad esso inerenti.
• I bambini devono essere supervisionati per assicurarsi che non giochino
con l’apparecchio
• ATTENZIONE: Le parti accessibili possono diventare molto calde se
utilizzate con degli apparecchi di cottura
MANUTENZIONE
• Prima di effettuare tutte le operazioni di manutenzione o pulizia scollegare
l’apparecchio dall’alimentazione elettrica.
• Effettuare una scrupolosa e tempestiva manutenzione dei ltri a seconda
gli intervalli consigliati dai costruttore.
• Per la pulizia delle superci della cappa è sufciente utilizzare un panno
umido e detersivo liquido neutro.
• La pulizia e la manutenzione destinata ad essere effettuata dall’utilizzatore
non deve essere eseguita da bambini senza sorveglianza;
• IL COSTRUTTORE DECLINA OGNI RESPONSABILITÀ NEL CASO
NON VENGANO OSSERVATE LE INDICAZIONI SOPRA DESCRITTE
UTILIZZAZIONE:
• Questo apparecchio è stato progettato per essere utilizzato come cappa
ASPIRANTE (evacuazione dell’aria all’esterno) o FILTRANTE (ricircolo
dell’aria all’interno)
• VERSIONE ASPIRANTE: Per rendere la cappa in versione aspirante
collegare I’imbocco motore, mediante un tubo rigido o essibile di
diametro interno adeguato e non inferiore a 120 mm, direttamente allo
scarico esterno di evacuazione vapori e odori.
NB. Togliere gli eventuali ltri antiodore al carbone attivo.
• VERSIONE FILTRANTE: NeI caso non esista la possibilità di scarico
verso l’esterno, la cappa può essere trasformata in ltrante. In questa
versione l’aria e i vapori vengono depurati dai ltri antiodore al carbone
attivo e rimessi in circolo nell’ambiente attraverso le griglie di areazione
laterali del camino.
Nota: l’impiego della cappa in modalità ltrante può comportare un
incremento del livello sonoro percepito.

ISTRUZIONI PER L’INSTALLAZIONE:
La cappa viene fornita con tutti gli accessori necessari
all’installazione. La distanza minima tra il piano inferiore
della cappa ed il piano cottura deve essere almeno di
650mm (Fig. 1 ). Nel caso in cui l’imbocco motore sia
dotato di una valvola di non ritorno fumi assicurarsi
che essa possa aprirsi e chiudersi liberamente.
Per una facile installazione si consiglia si seguire le
operazioni sotto riportate:
1) La cappa va centrata rispetto al piano cottura.
2) A seconda del modello di cappa sono previste differenti
modalità di installazione. Individuare il proprio sistema di
ssaggio tra i seguenti:
a) No 2 ganci livellanti con ssaggio con tasselli ad
espansione in dotazione (Fig.2)
b) Staffa retro livellante con ssaggio tasselli ad
espansione in dotazione (Fig.3)
c) Per i modelli ad isola far riferimento all’allegato di
installazione specico.
N.B.: I sistemi di ssaggio a) e b) si alloggiano sui retro
della cappa nei fori L 1 (Fig. 5).
3) Togliere i ltri antigrasso posizionare la cappa sulla
parete e tracciare la posizione di riferimento dei fori per
l’ancoraggio del relativi sistema di ssaggio.
4) Eseguire i 2 fori precedentemente tracciati dopo aver
tolto la cappa dalla parete
5) Ancorare il sistema di ssaggio alla parete serrando il
tassello ad espansione
6) Tracciare sul muro i fori L2 per ssare in sicurezza i
tasselli nei fori. (tasselli in dotazione)
7) Appendere la cappa al sistema di ssaggio (Fig.2 e 3) ed
eseguire il livellamento agendo sulla vite di regolazione.
8) Fissare in sicurezza la cappa serrando a fondo le due viti
a espansione dei fori L2
SISTEMI DI CONNESSIONE ARIA:
Versione ASPIRANTE:
Collegare all’uscita dell’imbocco motore il condotto di
espulsione fumi di diametro interno Ø150 mm. Il condotto di
espulsione non deve avere Ø inferiore a 120 mm.
Attenzione se cappa è fornita di ltro ai carboni attivi,
questo deve essere rimosso (vedi pag. 8)
Deviazione per la Germania:
Quando la cappa da cucina e apparecchi alimentati
con energia diversa da quella elettrica sono in funzione
simultaneamente, la pressione negativa nel locale non deve
superare i 4 Pa (4 x 10-5 bar).

Versione FILTRANTE:
Lasciare libero l’imbocco motore. Installare i ltri al carbone
attivo come illustrato a pag.8.
Se la cappa non è provvista di ltro al carbone attivo è
necessario acquistarlo separatamente rivolgendosi presso
il centro Smeg autorizzato più vicino.
Per alcuni modelli è previsto di serie un gruppo raccordi
(Fig.6) da ssare a parete mediante tasselli ad espansione
ad una altezza opportuna in modo da canalizzare il usso
dell’aria in corrispondenza delle feritoie camino. Inserire
lateralmente le prolunghe R2 sui raccordo R1. Collegare il
raccordo R1 all’uscita del corpo cappa per mezzo di un tubo
di diametro D.150mm.
• MONTAGGIO CAMINI (g. 7):
Posizionare la staffa camino, unica o in due pezzi (K) al
limite superiore desiderato.
Tracciare i due fori sulla parete per il ssaggio della staffa.
Forare e ssare la staffa con i tasselli ad espansione in
dotazione.
Posizionare con cura il gruppo camini sulla cappa.
Fissare il camino inferiore mediante le viti Z alla cappa.
Estendere con attenzione il camino superiore no al
limite superiore.
Bloccare mediante le viti L il camino superiore alla staffa
camino K.
• CONNESSIONE ELETTRICA
• Si raccomanda che le operazioni di collegamento
elettrico vengano eseguite da un installatore
qualicato.
Nel caso di collegamento elettrico diretto alla rete
è necessario interporre tra l’apparecchio e la rete un
interruttore bipolare con apertura minima tra i contatti di
3mm, dimensionato al carico e rispondente alle norme
in vigore.

attivo.
Visualizza per 5 secondi un’animazione
rotativa. Lampeggia “ ” due volte in EF
attivazione. Lampeggia “ ” una volta EF
in disattivazione.

Funzione Delay
Attiva lo spegnimento automatico ritardato di 30’. Adatto per
completare l’eliminazione di odori residui. Attivabile da qualsiasi
posizione, si disattiva premendo il tasto o spegnendo il motore.
Visualizza la velocità di esercizio e il
punto in basso a destra lampeggia
GCon l’allarme ltri in corso premendo il tasto per circa 3 secondi
si effettua il reset dell’allarme.
Terminata la procedura si spegne
la segnalazione precedentemente

HDecrementa l'intensità di Illuminazione ad ogni pressione del

Comando Blocco Tastiera: è possibile bloccare la tastiera, ad esempio per effettuare
la pulizia della supercie in Vetro, quando la Cappa ha il Motore e le Luci spente.
Premendo per circa 5 Secondi il tasto D si può abilitare o disabilitare il Blocco Tastiera
che è sempre confermato con:
“- -” Blocco tastiera Attivato.

La funzione intensiva temporizzata è quella modalità di servizio per la quale per un
tempo limitato la cappa elabora la sua massima portata.
L’attivazione della funzione è visualizzata dal lampeggio del LED posto in corrispondenza
del tasto. Alla scadenza della temporizzazione della velocità intensiva si ripristina in
default la terza velocità.

- AUTOSPEGNIMENTO TEMPORIZZATO: Schiacciando uno dei tasti velocità
motore (2-3), per due volte, si attiverà la funzione “ Autospegnimento Temporizzato”
che spegne sia luci che motore della cappa dopo 10 min. L’attivazione di tale funzione
viene testimoniata dal lampeggiare del LED immediatamente al di sopra del tasto
schiacciato.
- AVVISO PULIZIA FILTRI: il lampeggiare contemporaneo dei 4 LED, (programmato
per attivarsi ogni 200h di funzionamento) , sta ad indicare all’utente la necessità di
pulire/sostituire i ltri.
Con la pressione del tasto OFF è possibile far ripartire il conteggio delle 200h
N.B. La pressione accidentale del tasto prima delle 200h di funzionamento OFF
non produce reset alla memoria pulizia ltri. E’ buona norma che ogni 200h
vengano puliti i ltri grassi e ogni 200h sostituiti quelli a carboni attivi.
FUNZIONI OPZIONALI:

Per il ltro a disco è sufciente ruotare di 90° come indicato
nella (g.A) i due ltri e quindi estrarli dalla loro sede.
Nel caso di ltro a cartuccia ssato con molle, (g.B)
esercitare una pressione necessaria a vincere la resistenza
della molla e quindi estrarre il ltro.
Con ltro a cartuccia bloccato con staffa e pomo lettato
(g.C), svitare il pomo, togliere la staffa bloccaggio e
quindi estrarre il ltro a carboni attivi. Rimontare i ltri al
carbone ed ltri antigrasso metallici eseguendo a ritroso le
operazioni prima svolte.
SOSTITUZIONE LAMPADE:
Prima di effettuare qualsiasi intervento di manutenzione e/o pulizia, scollegare
sempre la cappa dall’alimentazione elettrica
A seconda del modello la cappa può essere dotata di tipi
diversi di illuminazione con lampade a LED o Alogene:
a) A LED: Le sorgenti luminose LED garantiscono un
elevato numero di ore di funzionamento. Qualora
si rendesse necessaria la sostituzione per usura
o guasto è necessario sostituire l’intero faretto. In
tal caso rivolgersi all’Assistenza tecnica qualicata.
Questo apparecchio è provvisto di una luce LED
bianca di classe 1M secondo la norma EN 60825-1:
1994 + A1:2002 + A2:2001; massima potenza ottica
emessa@439nm: 7μW.
Non osservare direttamente con strumenti
ottici (binocolo, lente d’ingrandimento….).
b) Alogene: 20W lampada con attacco G4, potenza e
tensione 12V. Per sostituire la lampada togliere con
un cacciavite l’anello di supporto vetro del faretto.
Rimosso il vetro slare la lampada difettosa dalla
sede rimontare la nuova lampada. Rimontare il vetro
del faretto bloccandolo con l’anello.

WARNINGS!
INSTALLATION
• Read the instructions closely before installing and/or using the
hood.
• The manufacturer will not be held liable for damage caused by installation
that is incorrect or not up to standard.
• We recommend that all installation and adjustment procedures are
carried out by trained personnel.
• When the hood is taken out of its packaging inspect it to ensure that it
is intact. If the product is damaged, do not use it and contact the Smeg
assistance service.
• Before making any connections, make sure that the mains voltage
corresponds to the voltage shown on the label located inside the appliance.
• For Class I appliances, check that the domestic power supply guarantees
adequate earthing.
• The minimum distance between the hob and the lower part of the hood
must be at least 650mm.
• notThe extracted air must be conveyed in a duct used to conduct fumes
from appliances powered by gas or other fuel.
• Connect the outlet for the air extracted by the hood to fumes discharge
ducts with a suitable internal diameter, and no less than 120 mm.
• The room must be adequately ventilated when the hood or gas appliances
are used simultaneously.
• If the power cable is damaged it must be replaced by the manufacturer
or its technical assistance service, or nonetheless by an individual with a
similar qualication, so as to prevent any risk.
• Comply with any legal regulations relative to the extraction of air when
operating the extraction hood.
OPERATION
• Do not cook or fry in a way that creates strong ames. These could be
drawn into the hood during operation and cause a re.
• Do not ambé food under the kitchen hood; Fire hazard
• The hood can be used by individuals under the age of 8 and by individuals
with physical, sensorial or mental impairments, or without experience or
the required knowledge, as long as they are under supervision or have
been given instructions on safe use of the appliance and are familiar with

the dangers it entails.
• Children must be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the
appliance
• ATTENTION: The accessible parts can become very hot if they are used
with cooking equipment.
MAINTENANCE
• Before carrying out any maintenance procedure or cleaning, disconnect
the appliance from the electricity supply.
• Carry out thorough and timely maintenance of the lters in accordance
with the intervals recommended by the manufacturer.
• To clean the hood surfaces, use a damp cloth and a mild liquid
detergent.
• notCleaning and maintenance carried out by the user must be performed
by children without supervision;
• THE MANUFACTURER DECLINES ALL RESPONSIBILITY IF THE
ABOVE INDICATIONS ARE NOT FOLLOWED
USE:
• This appliance was designed to be used as an EXTRACTION (extraction
of air to the outside) or FILTER hood (recirculation of air indoors).
• EXTRACTION VERSION: To turn the hood into the extraction version
connect the motor inlet, by means of a rigid or exible pipe with a suitable
internal diameter and no less than 120 mm, directly to the external vapour
and odour extraction duct.
NB. Remove any active carbon odour-control lters.
• FILTER VERSION: If it is not possible to direct the air outdoors, the hood
can be transformed into the lter version. In this version, the air and
vapours are puried by active carbon lters and recirculated into the
room through the lateral ventilation grilles of the ue.
Note: using the hood in lter mode can increase the level of noise
perceived.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:
The hood is supplied with all the accessories necessary
for its installation. The minimum distance between the
lower surface of the hood and the hob must be at least
650mm for electric hobs (Fig. 1). If the motor inlet is
equipped with a non-return valve for fumes, make sure
it can open and close freely.
For easy installation it is recommended to follow the
procedures described below:
1) The hood must be centred with respect to the hob surface.
2) There are different installation procedures depending
on the hood model. Choose one of the following xing
systems:
a) 2 levelling hooks that fasten on with the supplied
expansion plugs (Fig. 2)
b) Rear levelling bracket that fastens on with the
supplied expansion plugs (Fig. 3)
c) For island models refer to the special installation
attachment.
N.B.: Fixing systems a) and b) t on to the back of the
hood in the holes L1 (Fig. 5).
3) Remove the grease lters and position the hood on the
wall and mark the reference position for the holes to
anchor the relative xing system.
4) Drill the 2 holes previously marked after removing the
hood from the wall
5) Anchor the xing system to the wall by tightening the
expansion plug
6) Mark holes L2 on the wall to secure the plugs safely in
the holes. (plugs supplied)
7) Hang the hood on the xing system (g. 2 and 3) and
level it using the adjustment screws ( g.2 ).
8) Securely x the hood by fully tightening the two expansion
screws of the holes L2
AIR CONNECTION SYSTEMS:
EXTRACTION version:
Connect the fume expulsion duct (inside diameter Ø 150
mm) to the exhaust of the motor inlet. The expulsion duct
must not have a diameter Ø of less than 120 mm.
Note that if the hood is supplied with an active carbon
lter, this must be removed (see page 8)
Deviation for Germany:
When the hood and other appliances powered by energy
other than electricity are simultaneously ON, the negative
pressure in the room must not exceed 4 Pa (4 x 10 -5 bar).

2-DIGIT 10-KEY CAPACITIVE PUSHBUTTON BOARD:
Key Function Display
A Turns the suction motor on / off. Displays the set speed
B Decreases the operation speed. Displays the set speed
C Increases the operation speed. Displays the set speed
D
Activates the Intensive speed from any speed even with the
motor off, this speed is timed. At the end, the system returns to
the speed previously set. Suitable for dealing with the maximum
emissions of cooking fumes.
Displays alternatively HI
Hold the button down for about 5 seconds, when all loads are off
(Motor + Light), to switch the keyboard lock On / Off. "- -" Keyboard lock On.

24 H function
Activates the motor at the rst speed and allows extraction for
10 minutes every hour.
It displays 24 and the point at the
bottom right ashes once a second,
while the motor is in operation. Press
the key to disable it.
Holding the button down for about 5 seconds when all loads are
off (Motor + Light), holding key "B" down during the animation,
the Active Carbon Filters Alarm switches On / Off.
Displays a rotary animation for
5 seconds. "EF" ashes twice in
activation. "EF" ashes once in
deactivation.
F
Delay function
Enables the automatic shutdown delay of 30'. Suitable for
removing residual odours. Can be activated from any position.
You disable it by pressing the key or turning the motor off.
Displays the operating speed and the
point on the lower right ashes.
GWith the lter alarm in progress, pressing the key for about 3
seconds resets the alarm.
After the procedure, the signal
previously displayed turns off:
FF signals the need to wash the
metallic grease lters. The alarm
comes on after 100 hours of actual
operation of the Hood.
EF signals the need to replace the
active carbon lters and the metallic
grease lters must also be washed.
The alarm comes on after 200 hours of
actual operation of the Hood.
HDecreases the light intensity at each press of the Key in a cyclic
manner.
1 Turns the lighting system on and off at maximum intensity.
LIncreases the light intensity at each press of the Key in a cyclic
manner.
Keyboard lock command: you can lock the keyboard, for example, to clean the glass
surface, when the Hood has the motor and lights switched off. By pressing key D
for about 5 seconds, you can enable or disable the keyboard lock which is always
conrmed with:
“- -” Keyboard lock On.

The timed intensive function is that mode of service for which the hood, for a limited
time, works at its maximum capacity.
Activating the function is displayed by the LED located under the key ashing. When
the intensive speed timer has expired it returns to the third speed by default.

1-DIGIT CAPACITIVE PUSHBUTTON BOARD:
SOFT TOUCH ELECTRONIC PUSHBUTTON BOARD:
- TIMED AUTO POWER OFF: By pressing one of the motor speed keys (2-3), twice,
you will activate the function "Timed Auto Power Off" which turns off both lights and hood
motor after 10 mins. Activating this function is demonstrated by the LED immediately
above the pressed button ashing.
- FILTER CLEANING SIGNAL: the simultaneous ashing of the 4 LEDs, (programmed
to run every 200h of operation), is to indicate the need to clean /replace the lters.
By pressing the OFF button , the 200h time can be reset. N.B. Accidentally
pressing the OFF button before the 200h does not result in the lter being
reset in the lter cleaning memory. It is good practice to clean the grease lters
and replace the active carbon lters every 200h of operation.

Before performing any maintenance and/or cleaning always disconnect the hood
from the power supply
Regular cleaning guarantees good operation and a long appliance service life. The
grease lters and lter hoods with carbon lters require special care.
N.B. The accumulation of grease inside the lter panels as well as affecting the
performance of the extractor, can also create a re hazard.
FUNCTIONS AND MAINTENANCE:
EXTERNAL CLEANING: The external and internal cleaning of the hood must be
carried out using a damp cloth and mild liquid detergent. Completely avoid the use
of solvents or abrasives. It is recommended to use specic products, following the
instructions on the product. It is advisable to clean the hood by always rubbing the
steel in the direction of the surface nish.
N.B. In some countries, the 4-speed version
is also available, with the layout shown on the
right, where:
Filters Reset Key
Particular attention should be paid to the metal grease
lter panels. The accumulation of grease inside the
lter panels as well as affecting the performance of the
extractor, can also create a re hazard.
In order to minimise the risk of re, the lters must be
cleaned regularly, at least once a month or with greater
frequency in the case of a particularly intensive use of
the appliance.
After identifying your hood model, remove one lter at
a time as shown in the next gure. Thoroughly wash
lters with a mild detergent either by hand or in the
dishwasher. Replace the lters, making sure that the
handle is on the outside of the hood
METAL FILTER CLEANING:
The carbon lters are capable of retaining odours until the carbon reaches
saturation level. They cannot be washed and they are not renewable, therefore, it is
recommended to replace them at least every six months or more often if the hood is
used often.
Before starting operations make sure the electrical power supply to the hood is
disconnected.
Access the active carbon lters by removing the metal lters as described above.
With the help of the gures, identify the carbon lters kit supplied with the hood.
REPLACING CARBON FILTERS: (Only for the lter version)

In the case of the disc lter, simply tilt the two lters by
90° as shown in (g.A) and then extract them from their
housing.
In the case of a cartridge lter attached with springs, (g.B)
exert the pressure required to counteract the resistance of
the spring and then remove the lter
In the case of a cartridge lter blocked with a bracket and
threaded knob, (g. C), unscrew the knob, remove the locking
bracket and then remove the active carbon lter. Replace the
carbon lters and the metal non-grease lters by performing
the operations in inverse order

Depending on the model, the hood can be equipped
with different types of lighting, with LED or halogen
lamps:
a) WITH LED LIGHTS: The LED lights guarantee a
signicant number of hours of operation. Should it be
replace due to being worn or faulty, the entire spotlight
must be replaced. In this case, contact qualied
Technical Support. This appliance is equipped with
Class 1M white LED light, in accordance with EN
standard 60825-1: 1994 + A1:2002 + A2:2001;
maximum emitted optical power@439nm: 7μW.
Do not look directly at the light with optical instruments
(binoculars, magnifying glass...).
b) Halogen: lamp with G4 tting, 20W power and 12V
voltage. Replace the lamp by removing the glass
support ring of the spotlight with a screwdriver. Once
the glass is removed, remove the faulty lamp from
its housing and t the new lamp. Replace the glass
of the spotlight by blocking it with the ring.

MISES EN GARDE !
INSTALLATION
• Avant d'installer et/ou d'utiliser la hotte lire attentivement les
consignes.
• Le producteur décline toute responsabilité pour les dommages causés
dus à une installation incorrecte ou non conforme aux règles de l'art.
• Il est conseillé de faire exécuter toutes les opérations relatives à
l'installation et au réglage par un personnel qualié .
• Lorsque la hotte est enlevée de l'emballage, en vérier son état. Si le
produit est endommagé, ne pas l'utiliser et contacter le réseau d'assistance
Smeg.
• Avant d'effectuer tout raccordement, s'assurer que la tension de réseau
corresponde à la tension indiquée sur l'étiquette caractéristique située à
l'intérieur de l'appareil.
• Pour les appareils de Classe I, vérier que l'installation électrique
domestique garantisse un déchargement à la terre correct.
• La distance minimum entre la plaque de cuisson et la partie inférieure de
la hotte doit être d'au moins 650 mm.
• L’air aspiré doit pas être convoyé dans un conduit utilisé pour ne
l’évacuation des fumées des appareils alimentés au gaz ou avec d’autres
combustibles.
• Raccorder la sortie de l'air aspiré par la hotte aux conduits d'évacuation
des fumées d'un diamètre interne adéquat et non inférieur à 120 mm.
• Prévoir toujours une aération adéquate du local lorsque la hotte ou les
appareils à gaz sont utilisés en même temps.
• Si le câble d'alimentation est endommagé, il doit être remplacé par le
fabricant ou par son service d'assistance technique ou de toute façon par
une personne ayant une qualication similaire an de prévenir tout risque.
• Respecter les prescriptions de lois concernant l'expulsion de l'air à
évacuer dans le fonctionnement aspirant de la hotte.
USAGE
• Ne pas cuisiner ou frire de façon à provoquer des ammes nues très
intenses qui peuvent être attirées par la hotte en fonction et provoquer
un incendie.
• Ne pas amber sous la hotte de cuisine ; danger d'incendie

ENTRETIEN:
• Avant d'effectuer toutes les opérations d'entretien ou de nettoyage,
débrancher l'appareil de l'alimentation électrique.
• Effectuer un entretien soigné et ponctuel des ltres selon les fréquences
conseillées par le fabricant.
• Pour le nettoyage des surface de la hotte il suft d'utiliser un chiffon
humide et un détergent liquide neutre.

doivent pas être réalisés par des enfants sans surveillance ;:

UTILISATION :
• Cet appareil a été conçu pour être utilisé comme hotte ASPIRANTE
(évacuation de l'air à l'extérieur) ou FILTRANTE (recyclage de l’air à
l'intérieur).
• VERSION ASPIRANTE : Pour mettre la hotte en version aspirante,
raccorder l’entrée du moteur, à l'aide d'un tuyau rigide ou exible d'un
diamètre interne adéquat et non inférieur à 120 mm, directement à
l'évacuation extérieure des vapeurs et d'odeurs.
NB. Enlever les éventuels ltres anti-odeur au charbon actif.
• VERSION FILTRANTE : S'il est impossible d'évacuer vers l'extérieur, la
hotte peut être transformée en hotte ltrante. Dans cette version l'air et
les vapeurs sont épurés des ltres anti-odeur au charbon actif et remis
en circulation à travers les grilles d'aération latérales du conduit de la
fumée.
Remarque: l’utilisation de la hotte dans la version ltrante peut entraîner
une augmentation du niveau sonore perçu.

Version FILTRANTE :
Laisser libre l'entrée du moteur. Installer les ltres au charbon
actif comme illustré à la page 8.
Si la hotte n'est pas équipée de ltre au charbon actif il
faut l'acheter séparément en s'adressant au centre Smeg
autorisé le plus proche.
Pour certains modèles on a prévu de série un groupe de
raccord (g.6) à xer au mur à l'aide de chevilles à expansion
à une hauteur appropriée de manière à canaliser le ux de
l'air en correspondance avec les fentes du conduit de la
fumée. Insérer latéralement les rallonges R2 sur le raccord
R1. Raccorder le raccord R1 à la sortie du corps de la hotte
au moyen d'un tuyau d'un diamètre D.150 mm.
•
MONTAGE DES CONDUITS DE LA FUMÉE (g. 7) :
Positionner l'étrier du conduit de la fumée, unique ou en
deux pièces (K), à la limite supérieure souhaitée.
Tracer les deux trous sur le mur pour xer l'étrier. Percer
et xer l'étrier avec les chevilles à expansion fournies.
Positionner soigneusement le groupe conduit de la
fumée sur la hotte. Fixer le conduit de la fumée à l'aide
des vis Z sur la hotte. Prolonger avec attention le conduit
de la fumée jusqu'à la limite supérieure.
Bloquer à l'aide des vis L le conduit de la fumée supérieur
à l'étrier du conduit K.
• RACCORDEMENT ÉLECTRIQUE
• Il est recommandé de faire exécuter les opérations
de raccordement électrique par un installateur
qualié.
En cas de raccordement électrique direct au réseau,
il faut interposer entre l'appareil et le réseau un
interrupteur bipolaire ayant une ouverture minimum
entre les contacts de 3 mm, aux dimensions appropriées
à la charge et conforme aux normes en vigueur.

En ce qui concerne le ltre à disque, il suft de tourner de
90°, comme indiqué sur la (g. A) les deux ltres et ensuite
les extraire de leur logement.
En présence de ltre à cartouche xé avec ressorts (g. B),
exercer une pression nécessaire à vaincre la résistance
du ressort et donc extraire le ltre.
Avec un ltre à cartouche bloqué avec un étrier et un
pommeau leté (g. C), dévisser le pommeau, enlever
l’étrier de blocage et extraire donc le ltre à charbons actifs.
Remonter les ltres au charbon et les ltres métalliques anti-
graisse en exécutant dans le sens inverse les opérations
précédentes.
Avant toute opération d'entretien ou de nettoyage, toujours débrancher la hotte de
l'alimentation électrique.
En fonction du modèle, la hotte peut être équipée de
différents types d'éclairage, avec lampes à LED ou
halogènes:
a) À LED: Les sources lumineuses à LED garantissent un
nombre d'heures de fonctionnement important. Si leur
remplacement s'avère nécessaire suite à l'usure ou à
une panne, il faut remplacer l'ensemble du spot. Dans
ce cas, s'adresser à l'Assistance technique qualiée.
Cet appareil est équipé d'une lumière LED blanche
de classe 1M selon la norme EN 60825-1: 1994 +
A1:2002 + A2:2001; puissance maximum optique
émise@439nm : 7μW.
Ne pas observer directement avec des instruments
optiques (jumelles, loupe d'agrandissement...).
b) Halogènes: 20W lampe avec raccord G4 puissance
et tension 12V. Pour remplacer la lampe, enlever à
l'aide d'un tournevis l'anneau de support du verre du
spot. Après avoir enlever le verre, retirer la lampe
défectueuse de son logement et remonter la nouvelle
lampe. Remonter la vitre du spot en la bloquant avec
la bague.
