Component Function
1 LED Indicators
• Server KB/Mouse:
• Solid: Emulated keyboard/mouse is functioning
• Blinking: Brief ashing indicates activity (i.e., mouse movement), and
constant ashing signals a USB connection issue
• Server VGA:
• Solid: Indicates a valid VGA signal is detected
• O: VGA Input disconnected or unsupported
Note: Only activates after initial software connection
• User Console Link/Activity:
• Solid: Laptop connection is detected
• Blinking: USB is disconnected, and blinks briey during video
transmission
2 VGA Input
• Connect directly to a VGA Output on a Computer or Server
• Connect to the VGA Output on the MDP2VGA2
3 Host Connection
• Use the included USB-A to USB Mini-B Cable to connect the
NOTECONS02 to a Laptop
4 USB Connection • Connect to a USB-A Port on a Computer or Server
5 Mini DisplayPort Connector • Connect to a Mini DisplayPort Output on a Computer or Server
6 VGA Port • Connect to the VGA Input on the NOTECONS02

Installation
Install the Software
Note: Software must be installed on the Laptop before connecting the NOTECONS02 to the Laptop.

Windows
1. Once the Download is complete, right-click the downloaded ZIP Folder, select Extract All, and follow the on-screen
instructions.
2. In the list of extracted les, open the Windows Folder, right-click the Setup.exe File, and select Run as Administrator.
Note: If the Run as Administrator option is not available, the installer may be running from within the compressed ZIP le.
Ensure that the les are fully extracted using the previous step.
3. Proceed by following the on-screen instructions to complete the installation of the device drivers and associated
Software.
macOS
1. Once the Download is complete, double-click the Software Pack.zip File to extract its contents.
2. Double-click the Install.dmg File.
3. Double-click USB Crash Cart Adapter to begin the installation.
4. The program will now appear on the Desktop and will be ready for use.
Install the NOTECONS02
1. (Optional) Connect the VGA Port on the MDP2VGA Adapter to the VGA Input on the NOTECONS02.
2. Connect the Video Connector, either VGA or Mini DisplayPort, to the Video Output on the Computer or Server.
3. Connect the USB Connector to a USB-A Port on the Computer or Server.
4. Use the included USB-A to USB Mini-B Cable to connect a USB-A Port on the Laptop to the Host Connection on the
NOTECONS02.
