widebandsynthesizerthatcangenerateany
frequencyfrom12.5MHzto6.4GHzwithoutusingan
internaldoubler.ThePLLdeliversexcellent
performancewhileconsumingjust75mAfroma
single3.3-Vsupply.
Forapplicationslikedigitalmobileradio(DMR)and
wirelessmicrophones,theLMX2572supportsFSK
modulation.DiscretelevelFSKandpulse-shaping
FSKaresupported.DirectdigitalFSKmodulationis
achievablethroughprogrammingorpins.
TheLMX2572allowsuserstosynchronizetheoutput
ofmultipledevicesandalsoenablesapplicationsthat
needdeterministicdelaybetweeninputandoutput.
TheLMX2572providesanoptiontoadjustthephase
withfinegranularitytoaccountfordelaymismatchon
theboardorwithindevices.Afrequencyramp
generatorcansynthesizeuptotwosegmentsoframp
inanautomaticrampgenerationoptionoramanual
optionformaximumflexibility.Thefastcalibration
algorithmallowstheusertochangefrequencies
fasterthan20µs.TheLMX2572alsosupports
generatingorrepeatingSYSREF(compliantto
JESD204Bstandard)makingitanideallow-power,
low-noiseclocksourceforclockinghigh-speeddata
converters.Finedelayadjustmentisprovidedinthis

traces.
