3 Description
The TLC2272 and TLC2274 are dual and quadruple
operational ampliers fromTexas Instruments. Both
devices exhibit rail-to-rail output performance for
increased dynamic range in single- or split-supply
applications. The TLC227x family oers 2MHz of
bandwidth and 3 V/s of slew rate forhigher-speedμ
applications. These devices oer comparable AC
performance while having better noise, input oset
voltage, and powerdissipation than existing CMOS
operational ampliers. The TLC227x has a noise
voltage of9 nV/Hz, two times lower than competitive
solutions.
The TLC227x familyof devices,exhibitinghigh input
impedanceandlownoise, isexcellent forsmall-signal
conditioning for high-impedancesources such as
piezoelectric transducers. Because of the micropower
dissipation levels, thesedevices work wellin hand-
held monitoring and remote-sensing applications. In
addition, the rail-to-railoutput feature, with single- or
split-supplies, makes thisfamily a great choice when
interfacing with analog-to-digital converters (ADCs).
For precision applications, the TLC227xA family is
available with a maximuminput osetvoltage of
950V. Thisfamily is fully characterized at 5V andμ
±5 V.
The TLC227x alsomake great upgrades to the
TLC27x in standard designs. They oer increased
output dynamic range,lower noise voltage,and lower
input oset voltage. This enhanced feature set allows
themto be usedin a widerrange of applications. For
applications thatrequire higheroutput driveand wider
input voltage range,see the TLV2432 andTLV2442
devices.
If the design requires single ampliers,see the
TLV2211, TLV2221 and TLV2231 family. These
devices are singlerail-to-rail operational ampliersin
the SOT-23 package. Their smallsizeand lowpower
consumption make them ideal for high density,
battery-powered equipment.
