prior to cleaning.
Do not fill the appliance for longer periods with water or
other liquids, as liquid serves as a breeding ground for
bacteria. What is more, ice may melt in the appliance if
the temperature is not sufficiently low. As such, always
store perishable foods in suitable containers in the portable
fridge/freezer.
Never remove ice from the appliance with a knife or other
sharp objects. Otherwise the appliance may be seriously
damaged.

(2) The appliance must be resistant to recorded
interference, including interference that could cause
undesired operating states.
Only one 12/24V connection should be used Risk of fire!
on the appliance at any one time. The connection not in use
must be sealed off with the supplied blanking plug.
Risk of electrocution and fire! If the power cord on
this appliance is damaged, it must be replaced by the
manufacturer or their customer services or by a similarly

Only the 230V connection or one of the Risk of fire!
two 12/24 V connections may be used at any one time.
Usingboth connections at the same time is not
permitted.
For the 12/24 V connection, correct polarity Risk of fire!
must be ensured. Polarity reversal is not possible with the
supplied 12/24 V connector cable.
Multiple portable fridge/freezers must Risk of fire!
not be connected to each other via the electrical
connections.
The refrigeration circuit is a hermetically sealed device and
must not be opened.
Important product information
The appliance requires sufficient ventilation, particularly at
air vents. The minimum clearance around all air vents is
100mm.
The lower the ambient temperature, the lower the power
consumption. In order to increase cooling efficiency,
position the appliance in a cool location which is sheltered
from the sun.
Ice must not accumulate on the inside walls, otherwise this
will decrease the cooling power. To defrost the appliance,
switch it off, let the ice melt, remove the drain plug and then
wipe off the remaining water.
We recommend operating the appliance only on
horizontalsurfaces, but operation at inclines up to 30º is
possible.
At an incline above 15°, louder operating noises may occur,
however this does not affect the cooling power of the
appliance.
The appliance may be damaged by low voltage, if the DC
supply cables are dimensioned too low. The following table
shoes the recommended cable cross section for cable
connection from the battery to the appliance:
Cable cross-
section in mm² 12 V max. cable
length in m 24 V max. cable
length in m
2.5 2.5 5
448
66 12
10 10 20
When using the appliance, ensure that the connected
DCpower source includes a fuse or automatic cutout.
Therecommended sizes:
12V DC: 10A
24V DC: 5A
Prior to use, ensure that the voltage is in the correct range
for the cable and connector socket.
The appliance is suitable for camping.
The appliance can be operated with direct and alternating
current.
If the vehicle is not being used for a long time, the
appliance should be disconnected from the D.C. power
supply to conserve the battery.
The appliance contains fluorinated greenhouse gases.
Observe the following instructions to
avoid contaminating food produce:
Opening the cover for a long period of time may lead to
a considerable increase in temperature in sections of the
appliance.
Regularly clean the surfaces, which may come into contact
with food produce, and the drain in the base of the appliance.
Clean the water containers if they have not been used for
48 hours. Flush the water system connected to a water pipe
if no water has been drawn off for 5 days.
Store raw meat and fish in suitable containers in the
portable fridge/freezer so that they cannot come into
contact with other food produce or drip onto them.
If the portable fridge/freezer is empty for a longer period of
time, switch off the appliance, defrost it, clean it and let it
dry. When letting it dry, leave the cover open so that mould
does not form in the appliance.
