1. Introduction
This manual is intended for users of the Sight Fighter Digital Plus. No specific prior
knowledge is needed to install and use this product.
The following conventions have been used in this manual to indicate instructions:
<key> Here you should press a key. The name of the key is given between
brackets.
‘System’ This is a specific term used in a program. These are the terms used
by, for example, Microsoft Windows 98.
[DIR] Key in the text shown in square brackets [….].
(term) The text between the parentheses (….) is the English term, e.g.
(File) used in the figure referred to.
Additional information will be shown as follows:
Note: The USB connection for the Sight Fighter Digital Plus only works in
Windows 98.
The examples assume that the letter “D” has been assigned to your CD-ROM drive. If
your system uses a different drive letter for your CD-ROM drive, for example “E”, you
should replace “D” by “E”.
1.1 Contents of the package
Before reading the manual, please check the contents of the package. It should
contain the following:
• Game pad
• Game port to USB conversion cable
• CD-ROM containing the drivers, software and instruction manuals
• This quick installation manual
Please contact your dealer if anything is missing or damaged.

2. Quick installation
This chapter gives a short description of how to install the Sight Fighter Digital Plus to
your computer's game port. Please refer to the digital instruction manual included on
the CD-ROM (see chapter 3) for a description of how to install it onto your computer's
USB port.
2.1 Connection
1. Connect the Sight Fighter Digital Plus 15 pin game connection to your computer's
game port.
2.2 Installing the program
1. Start Windows.
2. Insert the CD-ROM into your CD-ROM drive.
3. Start the installation by clicking on 'Start' and then 'Run...'.
4. In the command line, type 'd:\setup.exe' and click on 'Enter'.
5. Follow the on-screen instructions.
2.3 Adding the game pad
1. Double click on the 'Game Controllers' icon in the 'Control Panel'.
2. Click on the 'Add' button.
3. From the list, select 'Trust Sight Fighter Digital Plus (Gameport)' and click on 'OK'.
4. Click on 'OK' again. The game pad is now installed.
For a more detailed description of the installation procedure and the use of this
product, please refer to the manual on the CD-ROM. See chapter 3 for more
information. If necessary, refer to the manuals provided with your computer.
