Flysheet First Pitching
1. Assemble the three poles and lay them on the ground.
2. Open ysheet on ground and position tent in desired direction.
3. Locate black at external pole sleeves on outside of ysheet and insert poles. The pole sleeve ends are
colour matched to the poles.
4. On one side, locate the ends of poles 1 and 2 into corresponding eyelets on pole anchor straps.
5. Push poles into an arch from opposite side and locate pole ends into corresponding eyelets.
6. Insert the ends of pole 3 into corresponding eyelets on pole anchor straps.
7. Tighten the pole anchor straps and attach the ysheet clips to the poles.
8. Peg out the tent at all 6 corners.
9. Peg down the remaining ysheet pegging points.
10. Peg out ALL guy lines using the Y alloy pegs.
The inner tent and ysheet can remain attached when pitching or packing. However, in humid or very wet
weather, the underside of the ysheet may be coated with condensation. If this occurs, it may be advisable
to detach the inner and pack it separately to avoid the inner tent becoming wet.
Inner Tent (if previously removed)
1. Open out inner tent inside the ysheet, and position doorways to correspond with the tent’s porches.
2. Starting from the rear corners of the tent, attach the elasticated hooks on the groundsheet to
corresponding rings on the ysheet anchor straps.
3. Suspend the inner by attaching its elastic loops to their corresponding clips on inside of ysheet.
