2. DANGER: Do not operate the appliance if:
• the battery compartment is corroded or damaged;
• the appliance has malfunctioned;
• the appliance has been damaged in any manner.
If any of the above incidents occur, return your appliance to the nearest authorised service
center for examination, repair or adjustment.
3. DANGER: Do not attempt to disassemble, adjust or repair the appliance yourself.
4. DANGER: Do not under any circumstances immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid.
Immediate hazards which WILL result in severe personal injury or
death.
5. WARNING: These mills are designed to grind salt and pepper only. Do not attempt to grind other
foods or ingredients.
6. WARNING: Ensure the appliance is cleaned regularly and according to the Cleaning & Care
instructions within this user manual.
7. WARNING: Do not attempt to operate the appliance if the battery compartment is not secured
correctly, or if the batteries are not correctly inserted. Always ensure the alignment of the
batteries matches what is marked on the appliance.
8. WARNING: Incorrect operation and improper use may damage the appliance or parts thereof,
and cause severe personal injury.
9. WARNING: Do not operate the appliance without the Grinder Reservoir secured to the Main Body.
10. WARNING: Do not handle the appliance with wet hands.
11. WARNING: Do not leave the appliance in direct sunlight.
12. WARNING: Never use more than one type of batteries together at the same time (i.e. heavy duty,
alkaline etc.).
13. WARNING: Keep batteries out of reach from children and ensure they do not touch, play with or
consume batteries.

already been cooked and removed from the cooking oven or surface.
