Attention! Let the vehicle sit with the key
out of the ignition for a few minutes before
removing the factory radio. When testing the
aftermarket equipment, ensure that all factory
equipment is connected before cycling the
key to ignition.
TOOLS REQUIRED
• Crimping tool and connectors, or solder gun,
solder, and heat shrink
• Tape • Wire cutter • Zip ties

Refer to the following pages for the vehicle specific
instructions for wiring connections. Wiring connections
vary per vehicle. Please note that there are (2) different
wiring harnesses included, and the instructions for each
harness will be on a different page.
If it’s uncertain whether the vehicle contains a specific
speaker or not, test the wires with a tone generator, or
check to see if the factory wires are populated on the
vehicle side. Alternatively, the wires can be tested for
impedance with a multimeter.
