Do not use this apparatus near water.
Clean only with dry cloth.
Do not block any ventilation openings. Install in accordance with
the manufacturer’s instructions.
Do not install near any heat sources such as radiators, heat
registers, stoves, or other apparatus (including ampliers) that
produce heat.
Do not defeat the safety purpose of the polarized or grounding-
type plug. A polarized plug has two blades with one wider than
the other. A grounding type plug has two blades and a third
grounding prong. The wide blade or the third prong are provided
for your safety. If the provided plug does not t into your outlet,
consult an electrician for replacement of the obsolete outlet.
Protect the power cord from being walked on or pinched
particularly at plugs, convenience receptacles, and the point
where they exit from the apparatus.
Only use attachments/accessories specied by the manufacturer.
Use only with the cart, stand, tripod, bracket, or table specied
by the manufacturer, or sold with the apparatus. When a cart is
used, use caution when moving the cart/apparatus combination
to avoid injury from tip-over.
Unplug this apparatus during lightning storms or when unused
for long periods of time.
Refer all servicing to qualied service personnel. Servicing is
required when the apparatus has been damaged in any way,
such as power-supply cord or plug is damaged, liquid has been
spilled or objects have fallen into the apparatus, the apparatus
has been exposed to rain or moisture, does not ope rate normally,

Cautions
– Make sure that the amplier, speakers and subwoofer are
placed and connected in accordance with the instructions in
this guide.
– The amplier, speakers and subwoofer are intended for indoor
use in dry, domestic environments only, and for use within a
temperature range of 10–40º C (50–105º F).
– Leave enough space around the amplier for adequate
ventilation.
– Do not attempt to open the amplier, speakers or subwoofer.
Leave such operations to qualied service personnel!
To avoid leaving marks on the BeoLab 15 fabric cover when
mounting it, only press on the edge of the cover.
The labels on BeoLab 15 and BeoLab 16 are placed behind the
aluminium front covers.
Setup
You can set up the amplier with a pair of BeoLab 15 and
BeoLab 16, with a pair of BeoLab 15 only, or with a pair of passive
speakers. For more information, contact your Bang & Olufsen
retailer. With the amplier, two mounting brackets for 19" rack
are enclosed.
Tilt
When you adjust the tilt angle, make sure the two tilt adjustment
pieces on BeoLab 15 are placed at the exact same angle value and
completely parallel within the chosen value, for example, towards
the upper or lower edge.
Connections
CALIBR ATION
Used to compensate for the inuence of cable lenght and
thereby ensure an optimal sound performance. The indicator
light ashes green intermittently, when calibration is in
progress.
PL, LS1, and LS2
PL: For connection of a Bang & Olufsen product.
LS1: For connection of a non-Bang & Olufsen product.
LS2: For connection of a non-Bang & Olufsen product. Use if
your speaker does not switch off when the non-Bang&
Olufsen product is switched off.
STEREO/MONO
Switch between stereo and mono playback.
STEREO, LEFT, and RIGHT
This switch sets the speakers to play the left or right sound
channel only, or both sound channels simultaneously.
Status indicator light
– Green (solid): The amplier is switched on.
– Green (flashing): A software update or calibration is in
progress.
– : The product may be overheating. It is Orange (solid)
recommended to switch it off for a while.
– Orange (flashing): An internal error has occured. Disconnect
the amplier from the mains and reconnect it. If the problem
persists, contact your Bang & Olufsen retailer.
– Red (solid): When the amplier is switched to standby, the
indicator light is shortly solid red before switching off.
Cleaning
Wipe dust off the surfaces using a dry, soft cloth. If necessary,
remove stains or dirt with a soft, damp cloth and a solution of
water and mild detergent such as washing-up liquid.
Never use alcohol or other solvents to clean any part of the
amplifier, speakers or subwoofer!
This product complies with applicable environmental legislation

Forholdsregler

Vorsichtsmaßnahmen
– Stellen Sie sicher, dass der Verstärker, die Lautsprecher und der

platziert und angeschlossen werden.
– Der Verstärker, die Lautsprecher und der Subwoofer wurden nur
für den Gebrauch in trockenen Wohnräumen innerhalb eines
Temperaturbereichs von 10–40 ºC konstruiert.
– Lassen Sie um den Verstärker stets genug Platz für ausreichende
Lüftung.
– Versuchen Sie nicht, den Verstärker, die Lautsprecher oder

Um Beschädigungen der Textilbespannung beim Aufbau des
BeoLab 15 zu vermeiden, sollten Sie nur auf den Rand der
Bespannung drücken.
Die Etiketten des BeoLab 15 und BeoLab 16 befinden sich hinter
den vorderen Aluminiumabdeckungen.
Setup
Sie können den Verstärker an ein Paar BeoLab 15 und BeoLab 16,
an nur ein Paar BeoLab 15 oder an ein Paar Passivlautsprecher
anschließen. Näheres erfahren Sie von Ihrem Bang & Olufsen
Fachhändler. Der Verstärker verfügt über zwei Halterungen für
ein 19”-Rack.
Kippen
Stellen Sie bei der Justierung des Kippwinkels sicher, dass die beiden
Kippvorrichtungen am BeoLab 15 den gleichen Winkel haben und
innerhalb des gewünschten Wertes vollständig parallel sind, z. B.
in Richtung obere oder untere Ecke.
Anschlüsse
KALIBRIERUNG
Wird genutzt, um Abweichungen durch die Kabellänge zu
kompensieren und somit eine optimale Klangleistung zu
gewährleisten. Die Anzeigeleuchte blinkt grün, wenn die
Kalibrierung durchgeführt wird.
PL, LS1, und LS2
PL: Zum Anschluss eines Bang & Olufsen Geräts.
LS1: Zum Anschluss eines Geräts, das nicht von Bang & Olufsen
stammt.
LS2: Zum Anschluss eines Geräts, das nicht von Bang & Olufsen
stammt. Sollte verwendet werden, wenn Ihr Lautsprecher sich
nicht ausschaltet, wenn das Gerät, das nicht von Bang & Olufsen
stammt, ausgeschaltet wird.
STEREO/MONO
Umschalten zwischen Stereo- und Mono-Wiedergabe.
STEREO, LINKS, und RECHTS
Dieser Schalter sendet das Signal an die Lautsprecher, nur
den rechten oder linken Tonkanal, oder beide Tonkanäle
gleichzeitig zu nutzen.
Statusanzeigeleuchte
– Grün (dauerhaft): Der Verstärker ist eingeschaltet.
– Grün (blinkt): Es wird ein Software-Update oder eine
Kalibrierung durchgeführt.
– Orange (dauerhaft): Das Gerät kann sich überhitzen. Wir
empfehlen, es eine Weile auszuschalten.
– : Es ist ein interner Fehler aufgetreten. Trennen Orange (blinkt)
Sie den Verstärker vom Netz und schließen Sie ihn wieder an.
Falls das Problem weiterhin besteht, wenden Sie sich an Ihren
Bang & Olufsen Fachhändler.
– Rot (dauerhaft): Wenn sich der Verstärker in den Standby-Modus
schaltet, leuchtet die Anzeige kurz dauerhaft rot, bevor er sich
ausschaltet.
Reinigung
Wischen Sie Staub auf den Oberächen mit einem trockenen,
weichen Tuch ab. Entfernen Sie ggf. Fettecken und hartnäckigen
Schmutz mit einem weichen, feuchten Tuch sowie einer Lösung
aus Wasser und wenigen Tropfen eines milden Reinigungsmittels,
wie z.B. Spülmittel.
Verwenden Sie zum Reinigen des Verstärkers, der Lautsprecher
oder des Subwoofers niemals Alkohol oder andere Lösungsmittel!
