anything that could cause bearing mis-alignment.

INSTALLATION:

A. Ensure sure the BB shell

is clean and free of metal chips, dirt and excess paint.

B. Apply a little bit of grease on the edges of the plastic sleeve

Do not use PTFE, anti-seize or thread locking compound.

C. Add spacers

as noted below.

D. First insert the drive side cup

then insert non-drive side cup

until the threads

engage. Make sure you do not cross-threads the cups and that the plastic sleeve

is

properly seated.

E. Use the BracketPlug cup tool to tighten until the lip of the cups are flush against

the BB shell

(Max. 40Nm).

F. Apply grease to the surfaces of the spindle that will contact the bearings.

G. Add spacers

as noted below. If binding occurs or the crankset gets loose over time,

try removing spacers.

H. Install crankset following manufacturers specifications.

- BTL-105D BracketPlug

(12 notch 46mm cup tool)

- Caliper or ruler

- Grease
