Safety
• TheLEDs in this floodlight have avery intensive light output. Donot let
children play with thefloodlight. Donot look directly into thelight or direct
thelight into another person’s eyes, doing so could cause eye damage.
• Do not touch thehousing or glass of thefloodlight when it is switched on –
risk of burn injury.
• Do not install thefloodlight near flammable materials or surfaces.
• Do not cover thefloodlight.
• Do not dismantle or modify thefloodlight.
• Thefloodlight is suitable for use in temperatures between −20 and +50 °C.
• Thefloodlight must only be used with a230V supply with aprotectiveearth.
• Any fault or damage must be repaired immediately by aqualified electrician
before thefloodlight isused.
• Do not use thefloodlight near combustible or explosive liquids, solids orgases.
• Treat thelight with care and do not subject it to shocks or impacts.
• Thefloodlight must not be immersed in water or other liquid.
• Themains lead should be checked regularly. Neveruse thework light if
themains lead or plug is damaged.
• If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its
service agent or qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
• Thefloodlight may be mounted on plasterboard, wooden or brickwalls.
Itmust not be mounted on walls made of or coated with flammable materials
such as polystyrene or plastic. Donot install thefloodlight on damp surfaces
or conductive metal surfaces.
• Thefloodlight must not be placed close to flammable material.
• Ensure that thefloodlight is installed in such away that air is free to circulate
aroundit.
• Make sure that theplace on thewall where you have chosen to mount
thefloodlight is free from hidden electrical conduit or plumbing before drilling
anyholes.

thedesired angle and tighten
thelocking screws (1).
Installation
• Important: Readtheentire instruction manual before installation. Theinstallation
should be carried out by aqualified electrician and conform to current regulations.
• Warning: Makesure that thepower is turned off and that thefuse is
removed before beginning any installation or service.
• Thefloodlight must only be connected to a230V, 50Hz power supply.
• Warning: Makesure that thechosen wall mounting area is free from
electrical conduit or plumbing.
1. Thefloodlight is intended for fixed installation and should be connected to
acircuit protected by asafety device such residual current circuit breaker
(RCCB/RCD).
2. Mark out theposition of themounting holes on thewall using thewall
bracket (2) as atemplate. Drill holes for themounting screws. Use suitable
screws (and wall plugs if necessary). Thefloodlight must be fixed securely.
3. Screw thefloodlight onto thewall bracket.
4. Thefloodlight has 50 cm connection cable. It should be connected to
awatertight connection box (sold separately) with astrain relief (as pictured).
5. Use theconnection box as atemplate to mark out theposition of
themounting holes. Make sure that themounting surface is flat. Drill holes
for themounting screws. Use suitable screws (and wall plugs if necessary).
6. Connect thethree wires: L Live (brown), N Neutral (blue) and Protective Earth
(green/yellow).
Care and maintenance
• Disconnect (isolate) thefloodlight from thepower supply and allow it to cool
before cleaning.
• Clean thelight using asoft, dampcloth. Useamild detergent. Neveruse
solvents or strong, abrasive cleaning agents.
Responsible disposal
This symbol indicates that this product should not be disposed
of with general householdwaste. Thisapplies throughout
theentire EU. Inorder to prevent any harm to theenvironment
or health hazards caused by incorrect waste disposal,
theproduct must be handed in for recycling so that thematerial
can be disposed of in aresponsible manner. Whenrecycling
your product, take it to your local collection facility or contact
theplace of purchase. Theywill ensure that theproduct is
disposed of in anenvironmentally sound manner.
