Buttons and functions
WPS connection
Connect the repeater to your router/access point
Note:
• Once thedevices have been paired/connected,
therepeater will transmit the2.4GHz signal with thesame
network service set identifier (SSID) and password as your
routeruses.
• 5GHz signals are transmitted with thesame network
service set identifier (SSID) and password as your router
but with theaddition of the “.speed” suffix.
Care and maintenance
• Use adry cloth to wipe therepeater clean when needed.
• Therepeater should be unplugged from thewall socket if it
is not to be used for alongtime.
• If you need to reset therepeater to its default factory
settings, hold in theWPS button (2) for 10 seconds until
theLED indicators start toflash.

1. Connect therepeater to anelectrical

willflash.
2. Wait about 1 minute until theblue
LED indicator/WPS shines steadily.
3. Activate theWPS function on your
router or accesspoint.
4. Hold in theWPS button (2) on thereceiver for 2 seconds.
Afterafew seconds, theLED indicator/WPS will begin
toflash.
5. Wait for about 2 minutes until theLED indicator/WPS on
therepeater and theindicator on therouter stop flashing
(thedevices are now paired/connected).
Note:

Non-WPS connection

2. Wait about 1 minute until theblue LED indicator/WPS
shines steadily.
3. Connect your computer to one of thepre‑configured
repeater networks. SSID: EXIBELxxxxxx or
SSID: EXIBELxxxxxx.speed
4. Open your web browser. Gotohttp://zyxelsetup/
Thepassword is .1234
5. Follow theinstructions in theguide.
