Controllable universal pump
Dear Customer,
we would like to thank you for choosing our product. We ask you to carefully read the instructions below, so that
you are able to understand the features of this electronically controlled pump.
Safety regulations
• This pump is intended for indoor and outdoor use. The maximum water temperature indoors is 40°C. The
maximum air temperature outdoors is 40°C.
• Check that the voltage indicated on the label of the transformer (N) is the same as the voltage of the mains
network.
• Before connecting the device to the network, check that the cables, controller (M), transformer (N) and pump
are not damaged in any way.
• The cord of this pump cannot be replaced or repaired; in case of damage contact the assistance centre.
ATTENTION: always disconnect any submerged electrical equipment before putting your hands in water and
before any maintenance work.
• This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory
or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction
concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
European Union: information for disposal of the appliance
Within the European Union, a crossed-out wheelie bin symbol on the product, documentation
or packaging indicates that the product cannot be disposed of in the regular household waste stream, in
compliance with EU Directive 2012/19/EC and with current local regulations. The product must be disposed of
at recycling centres or authorised waste disposal centres for electrical and electronic equipment, in accordance
with current legislation in the country where the product is found. Incorrect disposal of this type of waste can
have a negative impact on the environment and human health, caused by the potentially hazardous substances
produce by electrical and electronic equipment. Correct disposal of these products will also contribute to the
ecient use of natural resources. Further information is available from the product retailer, the competent local
authorities and national manufacturer’s organisations.

Installation
The Seltz D DC universal electronic pump includes tube holder connectors and a prelter (A) that can be
used based on installation requirements. The base (K) with feet (L) is used for installation preventing the
transmission of vibrations (g. 2).
We recommend positioning the pump away from the tank walls when using the sump, to prevent resonance
and vibrations (g. 3).
Once the pump is positioned it can be connected to the electronic controls using the specic connectors (g. 4).
The pump controller (M) needs to be positioned in a dry place, away from moisture and hazardous water spray.
Do not connect the pump and the controller (M) to the transformer (N) and to the mains electricity network
until you have scrupulously followed all the indications.
Adjustment
The pump is equipped with an electronic ow regulation system. To adjust the water ow to your needs use
the + and - keys (g. 5).
The blue LEDs go on to indicate the ow quantity, from minimum to maximum.
Legend for the LED colours on the controller (M)
A. Blue LED on: ow power.
B. 5 min orange LED on: FEED MODE on, the pump is in stand-by for 5 minutes.
Maintenance
WARNING: Before any kind of intervention, always disconnect the electrical supply of the pump and any other
appliance placed in the water.
1. Regular cleaning and maintenance will guarantee the pump better and longer performance.
2. Remove the pump and disassemble as shown in g. 6-7.
3. Clean the rotor assembly removing lime deposits with a soft brush. Do not use detergents and solvents.
4. Brush the grill under running water to clean it. To remove any lime deposits, disassemble the grill and soak it in
vinegar for a few minutes then rinse it under lukewarm running water.
5. Reassemble everything in reverse order.
6. In case of abnormal noise and /or reduced performance caused by sudden changes in electricity supply, it is
sucient to restart the pump to eliminate any air trapped inside it.
