1. ON/OFF
Theentireproduct(boththerefrigeratorandfreezercompartments)
maybeswitchedonbypressingthisbutton.TheredLEDindicates
thattheproductisswitchedoff,whilethegreenLEDshowsthatit
isoperating.
2. REFRIGERATOR
and temperature adjustment
Usedtomodifythetemperaturesettingoftherefrigerator;confirmation
correspondingtotheselectedtemperatureappearsonthedisplay.
3. Refrigerator display
Showsthesettemperaturefortherefrigeratorcompartment.
4. I-CARE
ControlstheactivationanddeactivationoftheI-CAREfunction(optimal
operatingtemperatureforminimalenergyconsumption).Whenthis
functionisactivated,theI-CARELEDonthekeypadlightsup.Press
andholdtheI-CAREbuttonfor8secondssothatthecorresponding
LEDbeginstoflash;thiswillallowyoutosetthetemperaturetoin
theRefrigeratorcompartmentandintheFreezercompartment.Two
minutesafterthemostrecentuserinteraction,thedisplayentersits
energysavingmode.Toexittheenergysavingmode,simplypress
anybuttonoropentherefrigeratordoor.
5. ALARM
An alarm situation has been detected in the product (see
Troubleshooting section).
6. FRUIT & VEGETABLES:
This feature allows you to change the temperature of the first
compartmentofthefreezertostorefruitandvegetables.Onthedisplay
the“feature”lightwillblinkuntilitreachestheidealtemperature.When
thelightstopsblinking,youcaninsertfruitandvegetables.
The feature does not have any time limitation.
Whenthefeatureisenabled,youcannotstorefrozenfoodinthefirst
compartment.Thisiswhywerecommendtoemptythedrawerbefore
enablingthisfeature.Frozenfoodcanbemovedtotheseconddrawer
ofthefreezer.Thiscompartmentworksindependently,bykeeping
thefreezertemperaturesetonthedisplay.
DuringtheMTZoperationwithdisplaysettoFRUIT&VEGETABLES,a
hightemperatureoftheenvironmentand/oraheavyuseofthefreezer
couldtaketoanalarmcondition.Itisadvisableto
preventthisproblembychangingthefunction.
WhenthefeatureisON,pleasedonotstorefood
closetotheholesofthedrawer.Whenthefeature
isONyoucanchangethetemperaturesettingin
theseconddrawerofthefreezeronlyonadefined
range(-18°C).
This feature can be disabled:
-Bypressingonemoretimethefeaturebutton
-ByselectinganotherfeatureMTZ

7. FREEZER
and temperature adjustment
Used to modify the temperature setting of the
freezer;confirmationcorrespondingtotheselected
temperatureappearsonthedisplay.
8. FREEZER display
Shows the set temperature for the freezer
compartment.
9. FISH & MEAT:
Thisfeatureallowsyoutochangethetemperatureof
thefirstcompartmentofthefreezertostoredelicate
food such as meat and fish.
Whenyouturnonthefeature,thedisplayiconturns
onandthetemperaturereachestheidealsettingin
order to store meat and fish.The feature does not
have any time limitation.
When the feature is enabled, you cannot store
frozenfoodinthefirstcompartment.Thisiswhywe
recommendtoemptythedrawerbeforeenabling
this feature. Frozen food can bemoved to the
second drawer of thefreezer. This compartment
works independently, by keeping the freezer
temperaturesetonthedisplay.Whenthefeature
isONyoucanchangethetemperaturesettingin
theseconddrawerofthefreezeronlyonadefined
range(from-18°Cto-21°C).
This feature can be disabled:
-Bypressingonemoretimethefeaturebutton
-ByselectinganotherfeatureMTZ
-Bydisablingthecombinedfeature
10. QUICK FREEZE
This feature allows you to change the temperature of the first
compartmentofthefreezertofreezefoodinaquickerway.
Onthedisplaythe“feature”lightwillblinkuntilitreachestheideal
temperature(orafteracertainamountoftimehaselapsed).When
theiconstopsblinkingandabeepcanbeheardyoucaninsertthe
foodtobefrozen.Ifthestartingtemperatureislowerthan-18°C,the
icon is idle and there will be no acoustic signal.
You can also insert hot food in the compartment. Please wait 30
minutesafteryouheartheacousticbeep.
Thisfeatureautomaticallydeactivatesafter24hours.
Whenthefeatureis enabled,youcanstorefrozenfood inthefirst
compartment.Theseconddrawerofthefreezerworkswiththesame
temperatureofthefirstcompartment.
Inordertomaximizeperformance,pleaseusethespecialdrawer.
Onlyinthesuitabledraweryoucanalsoinserthotfood,oncondition
thatitisdulyprotected.

11.SAFE DEFROST:
This feature allows you to change the temperature of the first
compartmentofthefreezertodefrostfood.
Whenyousetthefunction,theicononthedisplayturnsonandthe
temperaturereachestheidealsettinginordertodefrostfood(about
1°C).
The feature does not have any time limitation.
Whenthefeatureisenabled,youcannotstorefrozenfoodinthefirst
compartment.Thisiswhywerecommendtoemptythedrawerbefore
enablingthisfeature.Frozenfoodcanbemovedtotheseconddrawer
ofthefreezer.Thiscompartmentworksindependently,bykeeping
thefreezertemperaturesetonthedisplay.
When the featureis on you can modify thetemperature setting in
thesecondfreezerdraweronlyinadeterminedrange(from-18°C
to-21°C).
Inordertomaximizeperformance,pleaseusethespecialdrawer.
Werecommendtoputfoodtobedefrostedincontainerswhichallow
liquidcollectionduringthedefrostingprocess.

12. HOLIDAY
ActivatesordeactivatestheHOLIDAYfunction(the
HOLIDAYLEDonthekeypadlightsup),whilethe
temperature values +12°C and-18°C appear on
therefrigeratorandfreezerdisplaysrespectively.
Twominutesafterthemostrecentuserinteraction,
the display enters its energy saving mode (see
I-CAREfunction).
13. OFF:
Thisfeatureallowsyoutoturnoffthefirstfreezer
compartment.Whenyouactivatethisfeature,the
icononthedisplayturnson.
Whenthefeatureisenabled,youcannotstorefood
inthefirstcompartment.Thisiswhywerecommend
toemptythedrawerbeforeenablingthisfeature.
Frozenfoodcanbemovedtotheseconddrawerof
thefreezer.Thiscompartmentworksindependently,
by keeping the freezer temperature set on the
display.
Inordertoenableanddisablethisfeatureyoumust
presstogetherandfor3secondsthekeys“QUICK
FREEZE”and“SAFEDEFROST”.Anacousticsignal
will confirm activation or deactivation.
This feature can be disabled by turning off the
combined feature
